With the newly-slimmed down Janet Jackson and music producer- boyfriend Jermaine Dupri breaking news to Extra about teaming up for a superstar duet with Mariah Carey.

 

Janet: That's a big possibility. We're trying to get it together.

Yeah, Janet's man, mega-producer Jermaine Dupri told MTV, "It's gonna happen."

Access: Jermaine told us that you're gonna be doing a duet with Janet.

Mariah: Jermaine keeps saying this but Jermaine has got to call me and tell me about it.

Janet: Possibly. You have to stay tuned and see.

Mariah: I love Janet. Janet is wonderful. I'm a fan. I'll totally do it, but he's got to let me know 'cause we got to write the song."

ET: I'm backstage with Janet and Jermaine. You guys are hanging out in the Crown Royale Lounge, what's going on back there?

Jermaine: Getting drunk. (laughs)

ET: Are you going to do a duet with Mariah or maybe? Maybe?

What Janet albums do you have Kelly? I have 3 - All For You, Velvet Rope + Damita Jo! All good, and I will be getting her new album too... especially if there's going to be a Mariah duet :o! Not sure how the single is doing though, but I'm sure with all the hype it'll get top 10 :D

I have that album... the phonecalls are f***ing hilarous! Lmao! I agree though, the first single isn't the best, but it's not that bad! I'll still get the album :D, but I believe Damita Jo is really good and I don't think it'll beat that :( (quality wise)

 

 

 

Khia's album really is extreme, she think's she's the queen of the South and that Trina is a whore who only goes out to 'pleasure men with her music' :mellow:

In America it sold just over a million, I don't think it sold very much here, or elsewhere for that matter, perhaps 2m WW tops? :unsure: :(

I don't appreciate Janet's sense of irnony..her lyrics are just lame. Mariah will so outdo her in the duet if it happens...i like the All 4 U single though and i bought the album when i saw it in the bargain bin at Asda for 49p :)
