I can still see The Sats being #1 on Sunday, by the sheer amount of comments about having downloaded the song and buying multiple copies physically & digitally, I can see them winning this.

Lol, all this multiple buying but still they lost like 1.7k yesterday...shows they don't deserve it AT ALL!

Hasn't Missing you dropped to no 4 or 5 on itunes now? I highly doubt it will hold on to no1 in the chart come sunday, and it doesn't really deserve it.

It has climbed back to no.4, due to BBC news, where they told fans to download it off their mobile too, and that has been reduced! They are using their fans to multibuy! I hope they lose by 2 copies, that'll teach them! This week has been up with McFly! :puke2:

I just searched Missing You on twitter...they're running some sort of competition and there has been 400-500 tweets in the space of 25 minutes.

The fans are rabid!

I've had enough of "Missing You doesn't deserve it" talk.. think what you like but The Sats have worked their arses off for 3 years to get where they are now. They've done so much promo and worked so hard on this single but somehow an American artist who's just released a single over here with one promo performance to support it supposedly deserves it more. Whatever the outcome on Sunday I think it's a pretty big acheivment for them to have stayed on top this long, especially when alot of people doubted they'd even hit the top 5 nevermind #1. But they're so close now, what do you expect all the hardcore fans to do? The Sats aren't going down without a fight. Most of you putting the Sats fans down right now were rooting for the RATM campaign Christmas time anyway.

I have to agree, songs should get to no1 by popularity of people, not fans multibuying singles.

Actually Flo.rida kind of does deserve it more as he is selling his song on it's own merit without having to push it whereas the saturdays are basically begging people to buy it. Its a difference in opinion but that's what people mean when they talk about songs deserving no1.

Sorry, but the only people who 'deserve' to be #1 are the people who produce music that the public choose to buy. That is all.

If the Sats perform on GMTV one morning, that doesn't mean they deserve an extra couple thousand sales. Nor does them working hard for 3 years without a #1.

Missing You (according to Twitter) is no.6 in Ireland, their biggest hit there yet.

If Headlines has the same 1st week sales as Wordshaker, Saturdays would of been no.6 on last weeks album chart.

Lock for top 10 next Sunday i think.

I can congratulate Saturdays as I didn't expect they would hold on until Friday. I hope they'll miss out as they will obviously be behind Flo Rida, Eminem, Ne-Yo, Travie and Yolanda, possibly B.o.B. too which makes them already charting at 6 or 7 next week. And there will be two major releases from Roll Deep, Chase and Status who will overtake Sats easily as they're obviously going top-5 + Inna who I suppose will get quite high if she goes top-10 in iTunes once. So they actually might fall to #8 - 10 next week! :o I wouldn't want to be an artist who falls 1-10 tbh. :kink:

I agree! Missing You does deserve it, I've got my fingers crossed that today's promo & the mobile downloads will cinch it for them!

On another note, I wish Hard was doing more :S It's such an amazing song & video & it did so well when there was confusion about whether it or Rude Boy was going to be the next single

You'd probably commit suicide if you were Christina then. :kink:
