The song is bad enough; but the video makes it worse. It's really low budget and inappropriate ;)

Well just because the video isn't good doesn't mean the song won't get to #1.

But the chances are smaller especially with competition with McFly, Alesha, Script, Katy Perry (?), etc. etc. It will be a very busy week. 'Start Without You' doesn't deserve to be #1 by any means and I hope for just a low top-10 for this song. Quality-wise it deserves only about a top-30 though.

In a way I want Alex to go low top 10 at most with SWY so her label realise that her material must be stronger. It's unfair on the fans.

A bad video has never stopped a song going to No 1 that is just a foolish statement.The only thing a No 1 is dependant on is enough fans downloading the song to put it there bad video or not.

The thing is, if the video was Alexandra and a bunch of guys dancing on a tropical island, I think people would've criticized it anyway. This shocked me more than all of Lady Gaga's videos to be fair, just because it was the last thing I was expected.

However, you wouldn't of expected anything other from them artists. SWY had a very noticeable Caribbean beat, and that video just doesn't fulfill the potential it had. At Least CG had a good video, despite the fact it shocked everyone!

I don't really think any of that's true. Quite a lot of people like Alex, so they wouldn't be rude about the video just because it's her.

I am a big fan of her, but even I can admit it is an awful video, and even though those videos you mentioned weren't that good, this is far worse imo.

You could compare it to No Can Do for obvious reasons, the cheapness and the naked men.

The video was clearly going to be cheap when they wasted thousands of pounds going to LA to shoot a video to then scrap it. Why was it scrapped anyway?

It was scrapped because they weren't happy with the final edit.

The truth is even if there had been a video of her standing in a field blowing bubbles her fans would still download the single.Her promotion is going to be good her radio airplay is increasing and now the song has more attention than it deserves. Its going to be another hit for her and may she go quickly onto a ballad.

Intruth even if some people do not like the video many will still download it, gay men and girls who like looking at fit male bodies are sure to.
