Minister briefed on UFO sighting Secret files released today Diamond shape hung in air for 10 minutes

 

BRITAIN'S defence ministry was so alarmed by reports of a UFO sighting nearly 20 years ago, it took the unusual step of briefing ministers, according to secret files released today.

 

Other incidents in the files, released by the National Archives, include a woman who claimed she was approached by an alien with a "Scandanavian-type accent."

 

The group of seven files, released by Britain's National Archives, were recorded between November 1987 and April 1993 by the Defence Intelligence Staff in the Ministry of Defence (MoD) and include details of around 1,200 different UFO (unidentified flying object) sightings.

 

The MoD was handed negatives of photographs - showing a large diamond-shaped object hanging in mid-air for around 10 minutes before ascending upwards at high speed - taken on August 4, 1990, by two members of the public.

"Such stories are not normally drawn to the attention of ministers," an official noted in a memo included in the file.

 

"On this occasion, however, the MoD has been provided with six photographic negatives of an alleged UFO by the Scottish Daily Record and has been asked for comments almost certainly for inclusion in a forthcoming story."

 

The official added that ministers should tell the media that "no definite conclusions (were) reached regarding (the) large diamond-shaped object."

 

Among the other files released were details of an anonymous female dog walker who said she met an alien who claimed extraterrestrial life was behind crop circles.

 

The woman, who telephoned the Royal Air Force to relay her experience, said the incident happened on November 20, 1989, while she was walking her dog on a sports field.

 

She said she was approached by a man who spoke with a "Scandanavian-type accent" dressed in a brown garment that resembled a flying suit who told her that the purpose of the alien visit was friendly.

i dont believe any of it for 1 second... theres always a rational explaination for every occurance, its just that we havnt yet sussed all the answers.

Crop circles = 2 people, wooden plank, string.

 

I do believe there is some form of intelligent life out there, but the Universe is far too vast a place for us to ever come in contact with them, especially as we still have a lot to learn about the mechanics of the Universe. As for sightings, most have an explanation, some don't but will do as Rob says, but we haven't got the answer yet, hence the name Unidentified Flying Object.

I think it is possible for more advanced to reach here, but why would other planets to close to ours to be able to reach us be so more advanced than us... and if they are from further way, from planets which were created earlier, then why would they keep coming to our planet an not others? I think some aliens may have visited here, but it's odd that they will go up to a random woman and say hello and yet the MOD etc Never make contact...

Matt Aloud - As many Crop Circles are extremely sophisticated in design, & many appear

over-night, it is extremely naive to put them all down to being made by 2 Guys with a

plank etc.

 

I haven't a clue what makes them, but it is as daft to come up with your simple explanation,

as it is to claim that 'Aliens' are making them all.

 

Also - I keep hearing 'facts' about how the Universe is so huge that 'Aliens' would

never be able to get here. Illogical nonsense. Firstly it depends how long such

'Aliens' can live, how fast their Craft are, & WHEN they began to explore the

Universe.

 

Secondly, they may have found ways to travel through Space that Humanity has no

concept of.

 

Thirdly, many people have encountered Beings who claim to be 'Aliens'. To dismiss

them all as liars, or deluded, is rather bizarre - many clearly encountered something

that we cannot explain. It may not be 'Extraterrestrials'. It may be something that

claims to be.

 

For example, Air Ships were seen all over New Zealand in the late 1800's - before

Humanity actually invented them. (And over the USA & UK at about the same time).

 

The World is not as straight-forward, & explanable, as far too many people seem

to think. There are many things that we cannot explain.

It may be more than a couple of people but it's been shown on TV how they're made (I blame Art Attack and Nick Buchanan really). A bit of planning, an eye for design, and you're off.

I saw UFO in the sky twice this week, first on Thursday night, and last night.

I looked at the stars the first night, and noticed something a lot bigger (no it wasn't the moon!)

So i got my hd camera and zoomed in slowly, and i could see what looked like a diamond-shaped

grey object too.

Both nights in the same place.

 

It's definately a UFO being it's 'unidentified' but whether it is anything extra-terrestrial or not i'm not sure.

 

Here's the footage i took, the shaking is the camera moving.

One tip, get something in the picture to act as a reference. You can't tell if the object or camera is moving in your video.

Could you tell us time of day(obviously it's after dark but exact time would be useful). Also what direct are you facing the camera? Are you indoors or outside?

O and the approximate place - I imagine that was Birmingham?

Anyone seen the Space Station in the night sky before? Does it look like that? That would be my initial thoughts.

It was at night, lateish, i was outside in the back garden, the camera was pointing towards the sky, and the shaking was the camera.

When i zoom in, can't keep it straight. Yes it was Birmingham.

By direction I meant like north east south west etc.

I saw two ufo's with my paranormal group a couple of weeks ago. After our meeting we went outside to watch the stars. Our group leader pointed them out to me as i have never really watched stars or looked for ufo's. Easy way to describe what i saw is tiny little bits of light (a lot like stars) moving at different speeds (and i'm not getting them mixed up with shooting stars either, there were a lot of them that night but i kept missing them, i am still yet to see a shooting star :lol: )

I dont know whether i think they were aliens or not, i am still trying to decide what i think about what i saw. the group leader says he has seen thousands, he often sits outside in his back garden watching the stars, he was pointing out planets and different groups of stars.

I saw a chinese lantern that night too, i didnt know what it was and almost $h!t myself thinking we were being invaded :rofl:

You see those all the time in the sky. Apparently they're stars dying or something. I remember once me and my friend were camping in my back garden and we saw three or four. They kept going in a straight line until we couldn't see them anymore.

Planes? :P

I've just seen THREE more exactly the same objects tonight, and all three were

moving in different directions. They all give off a diamond shape when i zoom

in.

Had another look on youtube and found someone with a video of exactly the same

thing i saw. Wierd stuff!

 

 

 

 

Someone suggested it could be linked to the international space station orbiting

earth. If you look carefully you can round circular shaped phenomenon round it.

Could it be that i'm seeing?

 

By direction I meant like north east south west etc.

 

Not sure what direction, just that i saw it from my back garden. But tonight three of them were moving

in different directions, one from the front of the house and two from the back.

Could well be linked to the space station mentioned in my previous post.

 

Or satelite beacons or something?

 

 

Pretty sure now we're looking at real-time satellites.
