As I'm too lazy to compile my charts weekly :P, I decided to make some countdowns by nominations. All the countdowns will be based on my last.fm data since 27.05.06 (when I joined it obviously) and will include top-10s of every nomination I give. I'm planning these nominations for now:

- Solo Male top-10

- Solo Female top-10

- Groups top-10

- The New Artists top-10

- The Dance/Electronic top-10

- Urban top-10

- Indie/Rock top-10

Maybe some others. Not sure how I'll make Pop top-10 as it seems quite boring in my eyes and I'll think how to make it more entertaining. Maybe I'll divide pop section into several parts or something as Pop is by far dominating genre especially in the top-10 (9/10 artists in my all-time chart are Pop).

Also there is a genre question but I'll rely on last.fm too and watch which is the first genre tag for artists.

I'll start with the Dance top-10 as I've already 90% written the text for the artist section in Dance :P, I'll post top-10 songs and artists soon. I hope you'll enjoy it! :D

They are such a good French electronic group which uses a lot of ethnic motives in their music which make them sounding really unique.
Fav songs: Sweet Lullaby, Undecied, la legenda (part 2), all have 40 plays.

9. Pendulum (542 plays)

They are the hugest drum and bass artists nowadays and possibly of all time, their music was always a grower for me, I didn't instantly like them but later they clicked with me.
Fav song: Propane Nightmares, 66 plays

8. Bjork (601 plays)
http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/TPLP31CDX.JPG
She is unique in all terms, you can't find the second Bjork definitely. Her songs are full of energy and always very unpredictable, you can't know how the song will continue!
Fav song: Earth Intruders, 52 plays

7. Kosheen (616 plays)
http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/74321880812.JPG
They are also huge drum and bass artists whose music can't make me indifferent, they have so much power and the vocals are sublime, they have a lot of strong songs.
Fav song: Overkill, 63 plays

6. Groove Armada (643 plays)
http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/88697076852.JPG
This is the house scene... Unfortunately they aren't that huge as they used to be but I still love them. Their album 'Soundboy Rock' is being listened on one breath, I love it!
Fav song: Get Down, 78 plays.

5. Cascada (673 plays)
http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/1755820.JPG
I didn't like them firstly as they sounded kinda cheap for me. I've made a u-turn when they released the latest album. Although I did like some stuff before it too, like 'Because the Night'.
Fav song: Evacuate the Dancefloor, 138 plays

4. Planet Funk (703 plays)

I knew them for quite a long time but fell in love with them when I heard 'The Switch'... I fanatically started to listen their first two albums and I wasn't disappointed at all, all the specter of feelings from melancholy to total happiness go through me when I listen to their albums.
Fav song: The Switch, 74 plays

3. Roisin Murphy (731 plays)
http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51dTBoDNs1L._SL500_AA300_.jpg
WOW WOW WOW, I love her! She's like an electronic guru although I so miss her in Moloko! She has the unique sound, strong intelligent personality which is not shouty and her music is so different and variable that I just can't get enough of admiring!
Fav song: Let Me Know, 89 plays

2. DJ Fresh (868 plays)
http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51DD0QT619L._SL500_AA300_.jpg
My favourite drum and bass artist of all time who starts to gain some commercial success with his new era. I remember how just accidently downloaded his album, and when I heard it I was rather impressed. I think that everyone who thinks that he is a music lover should listen to this absolutely massive and creative album. Fresh shows how variable drum and bass can be so bless him!
Fav song: The Immortal, 93 plays

And the winner is...

1. Booty Luv (882 plays)
http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/61MloG2SEjL._SL500_AA300_.jpg
Booty Luv are the first! Unfortunately they are the flopband now, Ministry of Sound doesn't have so much faith in them judging by the fact that they want to make a trio from Booty Luv. I wish them the best of luck as their only album was so beautiful which secured #1 place in this dance countdown. I don't like how they covered a lot of songs in their first album but they promised to have the whole new material on their second one for which I'm calmly waiting. Hopefully the wait will be over some time and they will explode in my personal charts again.
