[25th Oct] she's been big this era McFly – Shine A Light [8th Nov] It's McFly, bound to have a good chance Pixie Lott and Jason Derulo – Coming Home - I know it hasn't leaked/premeired but she's quite big here, so is Jason The Saturdays – Higher - maybe wishful thinking? August 15, 201014 yr This is where it starts getting dire you have the X Factor charity single around Oct/Nov. I think Roll Deep might have a chance this week, but I think Eminem and Rihanna will peak at #1 next week, and stay there for a couple of weeks. Also Chase & Status might get a top 3 hit this week. McFly will probably get a week and drop like a bomb the following week. Olly Murs will get a X Factor boost, which more than likely get a #1 out of it. And if Kylie appears on the show, she might get a week. The big single which might get a couple a weeks is the collaboration of Robbie and Gary.
August 15, 201014 yr I agree with all of them :) wouldnt change a thing, to be honest it would be an amazing chart if all of them were number one :')
August 15, 201014 yr I predict gaga will have another number one at the end of the year and will knock of the christmas number one again! :)
August 15, 201014 yr Author The XF live shows start beginning of October, so Olly's 2nd single should be out by then. Kylie could push the release forward a couple of weeks so she can release straight after her XF performance and hopefully get a number 1. Alicia Keys is bound to perform when L.O.V.E. comes out, as is Pixie. Maybe The Sats too?
August 15, 201014 yr Yeah, I agree with your list Gagafan. Teenage Dream hasn't had as much hype (BuzzJack aside) as California Gurls though so I'm not 100% sure that it will debut at #1, it might pick up in the September gap though. Although Stromae may well be the most likely to benefit from those two dead weeks in mid-September. Then I reckon Tinie will beat Labrinth quite easily. Robbie and Gary you'd assume would be a certain #1 but Robbie hasn't topped the chart since 2004 now :o and Gary since 1997 solo wise...if some big American rap song surfaces out of nowhere, maybe they'll be beaten  But yeah, unless the song's dreadful, it's going to do big big things, and probably would even if it was awful. Didn't Bodies open with 80k or something? That's rather huge for a #2, it was unlucky to be released on the same day as Bad Boys, that was always going to be huge.

I'd say: 16th Aug Roll Deep – Green Light - maybe Really? 23rd Aug Taio Cruz – Dynamite - basically certain imoBased solely on the fact it is an urban song not yet on an album? 30th Aug Katy Perry – Teenage Dream - most likely Olly Murs - Please Don't Let Me Go - has a good chance Katy Perry, I agree with - WTF *is* 'Oily' Murs anyway? 6th Sep Alesha – Drummer Boy McFly – Party Girl - the most likely Stromae - Alors On DanseMcFly in 2010? ROFLMAO! Their fanbase will surely have hit puberty now, therefore discovered *attainable* boys to fixate on... :) HUGE GAP OF No MASSIVE RELEASES :( 27th Sep Kylie Minogue - Get Outta My Way - could be a shock Labrinth – Let The Sunshine Tinie Tempah - Written In The Stars - a massive chart battle between former collaborators While I'd love to see Kylie at #1, the rap drones will no doubt be out in force again. :( 4th Oct Robbie Williams & Gary Barlow – Shame - certainEven before anyone has heard it? Isn't that what was said of Robie & Kylie's duet...? :P 11th Oct Christian TV - When She Turns 18 - sounds like it could do well to me If even Cliff can't get a religious sounding song to #1, then WTF else could? Coming Soon Alicia Keys – L.O.V.E. [25th Oct]she's been big this era McFly – Shine A Light [8th Nov] It's McFly, bound to have a good chance Pixie Lott and Jason Derulo – Coming Home - I know it hasn't leaked/premeired but she's quite big here, so is Jason The Saturdays – Higher - maybe wishful thinking? IMO Pixie & Derulo's fanbase will be totally incompatible, so it won't sell to either.
August 15, 201014 yr This is where it starts getting dire you have the X Factor charity single around Oct/Nov. I think Roll Deep might have a chance this week, but I think Eminem and Rihanna will peak at #1 next week, and stay there for a couple of weeks. I can't see that, myself - their sales will surely have fallen below 50k, and I can't see them having 2 weeks at #1 on that low, nowadays. McFly will probably get a week and drop like a bomb the following week. You do know this isn't 2004, right? :w00t: Seriously though, they are heavily reliant on physical sales, and even when that market was alive, they could only manage 30-40k. IMO they'll be lucky to get T5 now. Olly Murs will get a X Factor boost, which more than likely get a #1 out of it. And if Kylie appears on the show, she might get a week. The big single which might get a couple a weeks is the collaboration of Robbie and Gary. From context, I assume this Murs guy is a former XF loser then?
August 15, 201014 yr I agree with all of them :) wouldnt change a thing, to be honest it would be an amazing chart if all of them were number one :') Kylie & KP are the only ones on that whole list I wouldn't mind seeing at #1.
August 15, 201014 yr Based solely on the fact it is an urban song not yet on an album? While I'd love to see Kylie at #1, the rap drones will no doubt be out in force again. :( If even Cliff can't get a religious sounding song to #1, then WTF else could? IMO Pixie & Derulo's fanbase will be totally incompatible, so it won't sell to either. - It's not just any old new urban song, it's hugely hyped/has massive pent up demand and has already been successful worldwide, currently sitting at #1 on US iTunes. Impressive for Taio seeing as he hasn't got a US rent-a-rapper adding an extra verse on this one. - It's the second single from a #1 album, whilst Tinie/Labrinth's songs are unavailable until that date. Had Get Outta My Way been the lead, it would have had a better chance at #1, but even though I absolutely love it (far more than Tinie/Labrinth) it will be as successful as Wow at best. I predict #7/8 for it. - It's not a religious song at all, apart from the tongue in cheek band name. Electro-pop recommended by Britney Spears apparently :o - I disagree, they both sell to the teenage girl market. Open up Top of the Pops magazine and all you'll see is JLS/Justin Bieber/The Saturdays/Pixie Lott/Jason DeRulo. Any combination of these acts coming together are bound to sell by the bucketload.
August 15, 201014 yr I predict gaga will have another number one at the end of the year and will knock of the christmas number one again! :) On a side issue, what song will the anti-XF/Cowell sales unite behind, this Xmas? :)
August 15, 201014 yr Anyone think Maroon 5 have a shot on the 13th of September? Just you, I suspect.

August 15, 201014 yr I'm quite glad of any of the above it's those two that are collaborating then :P True. I wouldn't exactly be relishing the prospect of a Justin Bieber/JLS collaboration. But can you imagine how successful it would be, they're the two most marketable teen acts around at the moment surely? :o
August 15, 201014 yr Really? Based solely on the fact it is an urban song not yet on an album? Katy Perry, I agree with - WTF *is* 'Oily' Murs anyway? McFly in 2010? ROFLMAO! Have to agree vidcapper what terrible picks, I think the only one that is correct is Taio Cruz, the rest just no.Indeed we are not in 2006.
August 15, 201014 yr Just you, I suspect. I somehow doubt it, but whatever. Also, new KoL single is bound to be a big contender and, since the album is out on the 18th of October, can't be long now :w00t:
August 15, 201014 yr I think Roll Deep will be a one hit wonder. The Saturdays Higher won't get to no1. Its not as good as missing. Robbie Williams & Gary - almost certainly a no1 hit. Katy Perry - next single - possibly no1 but not heard it yet.
August 15, 201014 yr True. I wouldn't exactly be relishing the prospect of a Justin Bieber/JLS collaboration. But can you imagine how successful it would be, they're the two most marketable teen acts around at the moment surely? :o :shudder: given that I can only stomach JLS when they're making vaguely mature R'n'B in the style of Beat Again/One Shot, a Bieber collaboration would kill any hopes of them improving on "The Club Is Alive" dead in the water :puke:

Impressive for Taio seeing as he hasn't got a US rent-a-rapper adding an extra verse on this one. Maybe I'm just cynical, but to me that sounds *exactly* like 'any old new urban song'. :P - It's not a religious song at all, apart from the tongue in cheek band name. Electro-pop recommended by Britney Spears apparently :oI'd rather have Britney Spears herself (singing I meant) - though the double entendre meaning does have some appeal too... :naughty: - I disagree, they both sell to the teenage girl market. Open up Top of the Pops magazine and all you'll see is JLS/Justin Bieber/The Saturdays/Pixie Lott/Jason DeRulo. Any combination of these acts coming together are bound to sell by the bucketload. I suspect the rest of us would want buckets nearby, too... Edited August 15, 201014 yr by vidcapper
