True, but Western Artists never do good digitally in Japan anyways (obviously there's the odd Avril Lavigne and Mika...). iTunes is a PC download which is less than 10% of the digital market in Japan. chaku-uta and chaku-uta full dominate the digital markets I believe.

 

It's funny because I know Gaga will sell 175k+ in Japan first week but debuted with 46k first day sales whereas in the UK it's first day sales is around 94k but only manage around 200k+ copies..

I can't believe You And I is top 10 on itunes, i dont really care for it that much at all, i hope this doesnt become a single...also what happened to the singles? they've all plummeted and Hair isnt even in the top 200 anymore.

Presumably they've been removed in single form and are only available to buy as an album track now...

I think I'm the only one who gets the impression she wishes she was a rock/metal artist.

Okay, I've listened to majority of the album now, and after 2/3 listens it's okay....

I'm a Huge Gaga fan, but it seems nearly as if in some places, she's tried too hard and it doesn't work....

I really, really like Schiesse, Gov. Hooker, Marry the Night and You and I..

I think Heavy Metal Lover isn't too good, but it's the only one stuck in my head...

The rest are average, but I'm sure they'll grow on me..

I haven't listened to Americano, Fashion of his Love or the Bonus Tracks yet either...

...And finally I think Gov. Hooker is just screaming out to be faster.... I'll come back once I've listened to it a few times :)

Americano is incredible. From that marvelous intro to the Don't you try to catch me no, no, no line, pure love. It would be even better if it was all in Spanish. Definitely followed closely by Heavy Metal Lover. That melody. So seductive.

Black Jesus † Amen Fashion and Fashion Of His Love have grown on me so much. I wrote them off initially and was partly regretting buying the special edition because I wasn't feeling any of the bonus tracks. But they are both so much fun and it's nice to have more lighthearted songs. The Queen still isn't doing it for me yet though.
