AMAZING. EASILY the best single release from this era already, REGARDLESS of how it performs.

This needs a video better than Bad Romance.

Heavy Metal Lover is one of my faves from the album but I love Scheisse and Americano too.

Though personally I think she should just move on to some new material. I don't even understand why she needs another single from BTW. The last two performed not that great either, why should another single chart well anywhere?

But at least I love the idea, we get a video for Heavy Metal Lover, will we?

It doesn't matter whether it's commercial or not. Anything she releases now will flop. I'm just glad more people will get the chance to hear such a glorious slice of uncomplicated pop.

I know this is a pointless post, especially given by vocal hatred of the song in the past, but I really cannot be doing with hearing it IN PUBLIC. You & I was bad enough.

Bleah. Really gone off this again, I'd rather listen to Fashion Of His Love :drama:
I like it a lot, probably my favourite of what was left. It probably will flop but at least it's something a bit different, I think it's important for her that any post-'Marry the Night' releases don't sound similar to the singles so far bar 'You and I'. That rules out 'Hair' for certain.
I wanted Bloody Mary or Americano. But this is OK.
Is she having a laugh releasing another single from this Album. This era is dead. She needs to go away for a while and come back with a Bang.
I am refusing to accept any single release apart from Scheisse.
I don't understand why anyone thinks she should "disappear" purely because she probably isn't going to get anymore hits from the album. She is clearly going to be touring for the majority of the year anyway so she'll probably just release videos and not much else. The album deserves more singles, especially considering the best tracks are yet to come.

I'd be happy to end it at seven singles. I don't think the likely hit factor of said singles should be a factor in whether they're released... Marry The Night gave the album a strong boost here despite not really being a hit.

I do think they buggered up the singles tremendously of this album and left some real killers behind, but there was never a 'Poker Face' or 'Bad Romance' type smash on this album at all. It's a bloody brilliant album that isn't represented by the single choices, but a lot of the best tracks just wouldn't work as singles (I maintain this about 'Heavy Metal Lover', it'll pain me when it bombs and people start slating the song simply because of that :arrr: )

I hope there's a Poker Face/Bad Romance next album..

That's what Judas was meant to be...
It was meant to be but failed as its nowhere near the standard of Poker Face or Bad Romance..
I think quality-wise it's on par with the two, it was just nothing new about 'Judas', people don't want to buy another version of the same song.

I get the feeling that "Judas" wouldn't have been as big a hit as the other two even had it been released before them. Maybe because it sounds like such a deliberate attempt to ape "Bad Romance" that I can't imagine it ever coming first, I don't see her ever bothering to write it unless "Bad Romance" (and "Poker Face") had come first.

IMO "The Edge of Glory" was more akin to those two as it was the biggest obvious hit from the album and was a gentle progression from her older sound. BUT I don't want her to try and recreate it next time. She's obviously still got it in her to make more original hits, "Born This Way" in a funny way could make a great lead single for Album #3 if it wasn't for the lyrics as the production's fantastic and the disco route seems like a sensible one for her to go down without straying too far from her roots.

I kinda want 'Road To Love' to be a single. It's my newly discovered JAM.

JIZZ IN MY PANTS much. The only thing Gaga's got right this era apart from 'Judas'.

Hi Germano,

"Sheibe" does have a hooky chorus. Personally, I'd still prefer "Hair" as a pop radio single were another to be released from "Born This Way."

An Interscope executive confirmed to Billboard this week that he is not aware of any current plans for another single from the album.

So what exactly is that single thing on Amazon? Still nothing confirmed then? :(
