Yeh, when used in the slightly wrong context :rolleyes: can be really patronizing and antagonisitic! :( Yet everyone uses it in here, if I used it all the time I'd be getting into arguments all the time :lol:

it just depends on what context you use in it...i do linguistics so i know when to use it so im fine, but maybe you get offended by the way some of the non fluent english speakers use it
