so looks like the new entries this week will be Taio Cruz, Katy B, Brandon Flowers, Aggro Santos, Rumer and Hurts- thats six new entries, which is pretty good considering there's been just 4 these past two weeks

Ke$ha will also climb in, so might Stromae, and I'd expect The Pretty Reckless will go top 40 as well... that's 9

Yes, I missed those out- 9 new entries is the most we've had in a while :o

Surely with her album out it will impact it? Though I would guess the album will suffer due to the climate and the cherry picking aspect.

I'm impressed and pleased for Brandon. I've bored of the track a bit now but it's a deserving top 10 hit.

I reckon the songs released as promo singles in the US will get some cherry-picking here in the UK, since they might've been gaining popularity through youtube, facebook, etc. Sort of like Airplanes did, but to much less of an extent.
Im actually pretty certain Teenage Dream will go to #1. Even if it doesn't on its release week (next week), her appearance as a judge on the X Factor will obviously boost its sales. I wouldn't be surprised if they played it in the background or even show a clip of the video before she steps out of the car too. :P

I'm 98% sure Katy Perry will be #'1 with Teenage Dreams for about 2 weeks.
I'm surprised but pleased Aggro Santos is top 15. His track doesn't have a popular female vocalist like his last single.
Wow at taio! Thats some lead. I can't see katy perry overtaking him next week :(

That's just the pent-up demand - it'll soon be sated, and his lead will then slip steadily.

You also have to remember that his opponents aren't selling that well, so that also exaggerates his lead.

It does have a female vocalist though :P

I'd guess it's probably Jodie Connor again (Good Times, In My System)

Ah, God & Satan in the top 100, that's good, thought it might mis out. Shame Biffy won't keep their top 40 streak going.
