The wait for new music from international pop star Rihanna will be over in a matter of days, as RyanSeacrest.com will have her new single "Only Girl (In The World" on Tuesday, Sept. 7 at 3AM PT/6AM ET.

The song is produced by Stargate, the Grammy-winning Norwegian producing team who previously produced Rihanna's smash hits "Please Don't Stop the Music" and "Hate That I Love You."

 

An iTunes arrival date and album release date are yet to be confirmed, but word within the music community is that "Only Girl" is an undeniable smash hit.

 

JustJared.com reported that an industry insider says, "The song is electrifying and explosive."

I got some news for you guys ^_^

 

Rihanna was on RihannaDaily chat last night :o she came by surprise and told us some news about her next record and other things :wub:

 

-Only Girl (In The World) is even dancier than Rude Boy.

-Her new album is FINISHED .

-Her new fregrance will be called Reb'L Fleur.

-The new album is not similar to GGGB, something very new as we are used to it.

-Shes working on her film Battleship as we already knew.

-She will return and chat again on RD.

-She will not attend the VMA's because there's no reason to go there [she is cleary p*ssed at them too :lol:].

 

There was a picture on twitter that printscreened what Rihanna wrote but RihannaDaily moved it somewhere. I missed the whole thing by 30 minutes :( can't wait till she's back on chat again, what a lovely surprise :heart:

Haha, I love it when she goes all diva :wub: Tbh, the VMA's are basically Lady GaGa Appreciation Awards - no one else really needs to be there other than her :heehee:. Rihanna deserved one for 'Russian Roulette' - that video was incredible imo.

 

Oh and I'm SO excited for new RiRi. Got a feeling she'll be even bigger with this era! :D

Anyway, it sounds HUGE :)

Quite a typical production from Stargate, the snippet's quite good but I need the full song obviously. For now I rate it as 7.5/10

I really like it :D the best snippet of the past few days. Hopefully this opens the door for more dancey music to be successful in the US.

Not sure if this has already been MENTIONED, but new album is called 'Loud'!
