He's saying that ALL benefit claimants should be tagged, not just the cheats, so that is just completely out of order.... I made the comparisons legitimately, tough luck on you if you cant see that this is the thin end of the wedge... I dont like benefit cheats anymore than Craig does, but I'm not gonna tolerate a system which assumes EVERYONE is fiddling the dole, which is what Craig is suggesting... The facts are the vast majority of benefits claimants DONT cheat... So why should they tolerate being tarred with the same brush...? Besides, do you have any idea of the costs of tagging and monitoring 2.5 to 3 million JSA claimants is gonna be...? It's likely cost more than would actually be recovered... So, err, just a slight waste of money seeing as how we're supposed to be paying back the enormous debt caused by the bank bailouts....
