Posted September 2, 201014 yr According to Atu2 - http://forum.atu2.com/index.php/topic,13316.0.html Very exciting if true - Bon claimed they have 4 albums on the go so one being released this year makes sense. ^_^ The tour to end in Dublin is ideal tbh - Aviva Stadium perfect or of course Slane next summer or September for the 30th Anniversary along with Glasto around the same time. ^_^
September 15, 201014 yr What's the capacity of the new Aviva stadium? Bet it doesn't hold more than Croker :P
September 29, 201014 yr According to Wikipedia, The Aviva Stadium has a capacity for 51,700 B) big enough whens the new album released?
October 3, 201014 yr It looks very futuristic. A bit like an alien spacecraft http://i54.tinypic.com/15yt0z8.jpg
October 5, 201014 yr Author It is impressive alright. Some complaints about sound at the Michael Buble gigs last week though - those up high could not hear well. Other than that it is meant to be a fantastic stadium. Ideal for 360 unlike Croker.
October 12, 201014 yr It doesn't look like the tour will end next year in Dublin. Not according to the newsletter I just received via e mail. Hot on the heels of a sold-out European tour, U2 have confirmed that the final date on next year's rescheduled 360° tour will take place on Tuesday, July 26th in Pittsburgh at Heinz Field. With shows coming up this year in New Zealand and Australia, U2 360° will start-up again in 2011 with a visit to Mexico City in May before returning to North America.
October 15, 201014 yr I really don't know. Scotty insists the tour is ending in Baile Atha Cliath
