September 4, 201014 yr As I said in the first post, I KNOW lots of people on here don't like them etc. I nearly didn't make the thread at all because I thought it'd get ridiculous responses, but I thought that maybe members wouldn't be so ridiculous. It seems I was wrong. Yes, feel free to not like them. But is there really any need in the posts above? Do they really add anything to the forum? Don't be silly. Threads like this are great fun. :dance:
September 4, 201014 yr YEP no seriously but i can't think of a more terrible group of musicians, i think the reason i get so worked up is that people actually take them seriously and think they make legitimately good music? We all feel this way about certain bands. With me it's Nickelback.

Better than I thought it would've been tbh! Their older material is just as terrible and misogynistic as Only By the Night though, some of it even worse. Fact remains that from the beginning they're music and shtick has all about been getting laid and not really about making good music.

September 8, 201014 yr Their lyrics are no worse than The Stones, AC/DC or Led Zeppelin and I continue to enjoy them as I will the Kings of Leon.
September 8, 201014 yr I like. Quite uplifting, the choruses at the end with the backing is maybe a little over the top but we'll see. Glad, and knew they wouldn't come back with a song in a similar vein to Sex on Fire.
