Posted July 16, 200619 yr Source: Mardy Bum The covers for the new Arctic Monkeys single 'Leave Before The Lights Come On' have been confirmed. As you may remember, we recently reported that the two b-sides to the single were both going to be covers - one an old song and one a song by one of their favourite groups. Now, the legend famous for putting up "those" demos on the internet all that time ago, running the official website and being a good friend of Arctic Monkeys, known simply as 'The Sheriff', has confirmed to us what the two b-sides are. The 60's song will be 'Baby I'm Yours' by Barbara Lewis and the cover by one of their favourite groups will be 'Put Your Dukes Up, John' by The Little Flames. Incidentally, both of these songs are sang by females. Not what I was expecting... I can imagine them singing PYDUJ though :P
