October 13, 201014 yr So, it's Girls Aloud - Sugababes - Saturdays in the top-3. I voted for all three of them though, so I can't complain. :P
October 13, 201014 yr Not the most suprising top 3. I did think the amount of KK's they recieved would push The Saturdays down a bit further, as would the fact they're realtively newer to the music scene. I dont think they'll be a lot of happiness at that top 3, but I'm fairly certain they actually were my top 3...which is a bit...worrying since I'm usually the one complaining about how $h!t a countdown's results are. It feels odd being pleased with them.
October 13, 201014 yr Glad Girls Aloud won, Spice Girls shoulda been 2nd, but ahh well. Didn't think Sugababes would be this high anymore after the latest line up change..
October 13, 201014 yr Decent result I guess- they are pretty good my comments on the final 6 Destinys Child Im not surprised finished 6th, of that 6, they are the least relevant nowadays, although they did have a good period, they made some great songs like Independent woman, Survivor and Lose My Breath- and two of them turned into stars- and Michelle, well, unfortunately it was always 'Beyonce, Kelly and the other one' Black Eyed Peas are a great group overall- they've proven to be very consistent and produce some great party anthems plus some more serious ones like Where Is The Love, and last era was bigger than ever, they've been responsible for a lot of modern pop classics so deserve (well kind of) their place here Spice Girls I think are probably the greatest group out of the 6 if we're looking at acclaim and longevity, they were really responsible for the whole girl group phenomenon starting influencing many of todays bands (that finished higher than them ironically  ), they made some pop classics too, Wannabe obviously amongst others- although they kind of faded by the end of the 90s and their comeback was just such a flop The Saturdays- well, I've said all I need to say really- I still think their a bit too recent to rank above the likes of The Beatles (thats obvious  )but they've not done bad I suppose, time will tell if they can have the same longevity as other girl groups, they have had a few blips (Missing You, Forever Is Over) but some great moments too (Up, Higher, Ego) and Girls Aloud and Sugababes- it was always going to come down to this wasnt it? personally, I think BJ got it right in this sense, Sugababes are/were a good girl group, but its kind of all gone a bit pear-shaped now, they have made some brilliant songs though like Freak Like Me, Round Round, Push The Button and About You Now- its a shame its descended to Get Sexy and Wear My Kiss, which in comparison, are not great- and well, the line-up changes have been shocking- I think them at their strongest was Mark 2 (Keisha, Mutya, Heidi) Girls Aloud imo have been far more consistent than Sugababes- they really set the standard for girl groups of this era and have made some excellent songs too- whats happened to them as a group now is a mystery though so yeah, I wouldnt class them as the best group ever, but are a good group for definite Thanks again for doing this Lee
October 14, 201014 yr Not a bad final 3, just for me the three girls groups are the other way around. I don't think Girls Aloud are as strong as most people do, but I do like them.
October 14, 201014 yr If Girls aloud, The saturdays and Sugababes split they will be at the bottom. Spice Girls and S Club 7 split long time ago and they stayed in the top 10. destinys Child not so much as Beyoonce will push the votes up. Top Man -MJ Top Womane -GaGa Top Group -Girls Aloud YUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK Top Man -MJ Top Womane -GaGa Top Group -Spice Girls YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES

October 15, 201014 yr 01 - Girls Aloud Total Points - 630 Maximum Points - Theo, BertForLashes, Shakilover, Lukuzz, PosionedKisses, Lewis, Paulo Bs - Gaga For Glee (627points) Favourite Song - Loving Kind. http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee194/tanisha_GA/girls_aloud-1.jpg Girls Aloud are a girl group that were created through the ITV1 talent show Popstars: The Rivals in 2002. The group consists of Nadine Coyle, Cheryl Cole, Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh. Following the success of their debut single "Sound of the Underground", which spent four weeks at number one, the group has achieved a string of twenty consecutive top ten singles (including four number ones) and two number one albums in the United Kingdom. All of their albums have been certified platinum, with their greatest hits album The Sound of Girls Aloud selling over one million copies. They have been nominated for five BRIT Awards, winning Best Single in 2009 for "The Promise". Girls Aloud's collaborations with Brian Higgins and his songwriting and production team Xenomania have earned the group critical acclaim, due to an innovative approach to mainstream pop music. The group has become one of the few UK reality television acts to achieve continued success, amassing a fortune of £30 million by May 2010. Guinness World Records lists them as "Most Successful Reality TV Group" in the 2007 edition. They also hold the record for "Most Consecutive Top Ten Entries in the UK by a Female Group" in the 2008 edition. Brap! :D Amazing winner, and by far my favourites. A very decent top 10 though, bar Sugaslags of course. ^_^
October 16, 201014 yr What a dreadfully predictable top 3. I'm not even going to bother going into a rant about how the Saturdays are far too high up, because I won't be telling anyone anything they don't already know. I suspect a couple of years the Sugababes would have won this by a landslide, but Catfights And Spotlights, Keishagate and then the DISASTER that was Sweet 7 have really sapped any goodwill the public had for them.
