10. Telegraphs 'I Don't Navigate By You' sent by Ghosthunter. The Telegraphs have had a reasonable start in 16th, Ghosty will hope they can rise a bit to match the top 10 finish he got with Lay Low in the first contest.

Ghosthunter's votes:

01 - Ou Est Le Swimming Pool

02 - Kent

03 - Peter Murphy

04 - Wonder Villains

05 - Miami Horror

06 - Momus

08 - Skyline

10 - Future Islands

12 - Valravn

15 - Museum of Bellas Artes

Once again the top 3 remain the same but things are much closer now. No points for the top 2 mean just 8 points seperate the top 6. A 15 for Museum of Bellas Artes moves it into the top 10, and both Skyline and Momus reach double figures. Kent isn't far off now either.

Be careful what you post Dandy.

I must admit that you were my first thought... primarily as it sounded so Euro in style.

I already knew and liked Telegraphs, they have better tracks though
GO ME. :cheer:

11. Viola 'Fleeting World' sent by SKOB. SKOB wanted to better the 14th place of Midlake last time but it's not quite going to plan so far.

01 - Ou Est Le Swimming Pool

02 - Kent

03 - Band of Skulls

04 - Animal Collective

05 - Museum of Bellas Artes

06 - Aloe Blacc

08 - Miami Horror

10 - Peter Murphy

12 - Momus

15 - Stars

10 points for Peter Murphy puts it to the top as it swaps places with Sonoio. 8 more for Miami Horror puts it even closer to the top, whilst a 15 for Stars moves it into the top 10 for the first time. A third consecutive 1 isn't enough to stop Ou Est Le Swimming Pool dropping out of the top 10. Kent are now in double figures and Momus climb well out of the bottom 5 with 12 points.

12. Peter Murphy 'All Night Long' sent by Suedehead. Suedehead wanted to do a bit better than he did with Klaus Nomi last time which never looked like getting out of the bottom 5. Currently in the lead, Peter Murphy definitely doing the job! :D

Suedehead's votes:

01 - Future Islands

02 - Ou Est Le Swimming Pool

03 - Stars

04 - Animal Collective

05 - Ghost Society

06 - Valravn

08 - Chapel Club

10 - Momus

12 - Lake Heartbeat

15 - Wild Nothing

Not voting for any of the top 5 means Peter Murphy keeps the 5 point lead it had at the top, although Wild Nothing break into the top 3 pushing Sonoio out for only the second time. Two top 3 points in a row pushes Momus into the top half and well within reach of the top 5. Ou Est Le Swimming Pool are back in the top 10 with yet more small points.

I'm creeping up the leaderboard very slowly with just a few voters, thanks to SKOB for those points.

I think the contest is still wide open, Band Of Skulls just missed out on the points, as I had to dump 5 good tracks.

Pete Murphy (he'll always be Pete in my eyes) is a legend. I hope everybody goes out and buys his and all Bauhaus' albums

Oh and Maxell tapes!

I already knew and liked Telegraphs, they have better tracks though

I can see why you would prefer the other tracks, IDNBY is their most mainstream sounding track. The rest of the album was a little too heavy for my liking.

I posted in the voting thread but 'I Don't Navigate By You' reminded me of Blood Red Shoes a bit.

I had a feeling someone might say that - I can definitely see the link, it's very similar to It's Getting Boring By The Sea and I Wish I Was Someone Better. Both bands are from Brighton also :o

Oh Ghosthunter.

It's a superb song

Seeing my track is doing sod all I'm rooting for Mr. Murphy or Band of Skulls
