September 29, 201014 yr miss frank were amazing and danyl was terrible - the wrong act definitely went in week 3 or whatever it was
September 29, 201014 yr I have no idea what the judges were on last year, constantly spewing out things like 'that was the best performance I've ever seen in a show like this'. Only Dannii actually seemed to be giving truthful feedback most of the time and I hope it doesn't happen again as Simon used to always be the one relied on to be honest. I'll never get how Danyl's out of tune murdering of one of the songs got yet another 'world class performance' glowing review from Simon :drama: It really was mind boggling. The first group performance of 'I Gotta Feeling', Danyl completely messed up his one and only line "and...tonights gonna be uh...good gud nigggqwwht. Yeah, world class!!! :manson: With 'IDWMAT', it was typical of Simon to say "taking into account the last note, that was world class".
October 1, 201014 yr Author 27. Rowetta Satchell 37 points http://i53.tinypic.com/2el6vl3.jpg Mentor: Simon Cowell Voted By: AaronTM, KrissyKins, Lukuzz, Superbossanova Rowetta Satchell is best known for singing for UK Group Happy Mondays and for her appearance on Series 1 of The X Factor and was the last female in the competition. Simon Cowell described her as "barking mad", however Louis Walsh on the other hand was unimpressed and decided she was "dreadful". She was eventually voted out in Week 8. In 2009, Rowetta told The Sun that alcoholism had affected her chances of winning The X Factor, and most of her performances had been drink-fuelled. After the show she signed a record deal and released an album. In 2007 she took to the stage in The Best Of Broadway and last year toured with The Songs Of Sister Act. She also appeared on Living TV’s Rehab after admitting to alcoholism.
October 1, 201014 yr Aw I loved Rowetta, one of my faves in the first series. She was completely crazy though bless her.

He was an outsider to win the competition and his victory was described as the "Biggest shock in the history of reality tv betting". In December 2007 he was invited to perform with Michael Buble as Buble was so impressed by his singing ability. Leon was the first and so far only contestant to play at Wembley whilst still in the competition. He had two successful singles and an album, however in 2009 he parted with Syco and is now working with writers that have worked with Paolo Nutini and James Morrison. Leon now hopes to release another album independently after failing to find another record deal.
October 4, 201014 yr hitstastic, is that the actual european top 10 in your sig or is it like your personal chart? :P
October 4, 201014 yr Poor Leon. It was victory which made him a true HATE figure. Completely RIDICULOUS.
October 5, 201014 yr hitstastic, is that the actual european top 10 in your sig or is it like your personal chart? :P It's an unofficial European chart - it's not personal at all but compiled from European chart data. I personally think the HET30 better reflects what's selling in Europe than the "biased to France" Billboard European Top 100.
October 5, 201014 yr Poor Leon. It was victory which made him a true HATE figure. Completely RIDICULOUS. Nah, I thought Leon sang his best on the night of the live final - it was the fact that in the previous 10 weeks, Leon's performances had been on various levels of crap; some not so much but others really terrible. He will never be considered a worthy winner. Rydian's success post-X Factor proves who the real winner was regardless of if you like or detest his music.
October 6, 201014 yr I forgot to vote. :( Leon was ok. Same Difference were my faves that year. Jedward top 25? :o

Eton Road 41 Points http://i51.tinypic.com/1zmh8b7.jpg Mentor: Louis Walsh Voted By: 152Chris, Lukuzz, Superbossanova, Nickthenoodle, Jonjo Eton Road were originally made up of Anthony Hannah, Danny Morris, David Heath and James Edwards. They knew each other as they had all attended a dance school together when they were younger. However, they had only been a group for 4 days before they auditioned for The X Factor. Eton Road were in the bottom two for the first time on 18 November, but were saved by Cowell. The following week they were in the bottom two again, and were eliminated by Cowell, who had the casting vote on both occasions. After The X Factor they performed at over 300 gigs and had a very big fan base. In August 2007 Anthony Hannah left and was replaced with 19-year-old Marcus Collins. They released their debut single "Wishing" in January 2008 and were signed by Malcolm Feld. In March 2008 Marcus Collins was advised to leave the group and he is now pursuing a solo career. The remainder of the group decided to continue as a trio, however in October 2008 they announced on their Official Myspace account that they had split.
October 6, 201014 yr Poor old Leon- he was though a totally undeserving winner- and his short success has proved this- it still remains an all time X Factor injustice he beat Rhydian to the post Im surprised Eton Road are this high- they certainly had some good performances though Ooh! Jedward still to come :cheer: Edited October 6, 201014 yr by chart wizard

Jedward still to come :cheer: Not often I agree with you but Rhydian was robbed and it makes no sense how the person who I think has had the best voice to come out of X-factor came second to a man that sounds like a drowning rat singing. Great looking back at the days when X-factor was so simple and uncomplicated.
