Dannyboy - If you do a similar List for No.1 Albums, it is best to leave

out Film Soundtracks.

This is because in the 1950's, & early 1960's, they so dominated the

Charts, that the 3 Albums with the most Weeks at No.1, are all Soundtracks,

even to this day:,

1) 'South Pacific' - 115 Weeks at No.1 (1958)

2) 'The Sound Of Music' - 70 Weeks at No.1 (1965)

3) 'The King & I' - 48 Weeks at No.1 (1956)

To stop such Albums dominating my Lists, I leave them out - but say

where they would have been, had I included them. (That goes for

all Various Artist Film Soundtracks - 'Westside Story', 'Saturday Night

Fever', & 'Grease' etc.).

'Evita' is usually regarded as a Madonna & Various Artists, Soundtrack,

so I count that one. I add it to her No.1 Albums too - for that is what The

OCC, & UK Chart Books do.
