September 23, 201014 yr Hows that. What system would you use? I usually do it by most weeks at peak position, then top 10 top 20 and so on down the chart. Though Dont soppose it really matters.

September 23, 201014 yr Author I usually do it by most weeks at peak position, then top 10 top 20 and so on down the chart. Though Dont soppose it really matters. The reason why I dont do that way is because charity singles for example have a few weeks at number 1 then plummet and have a really bad chart run. To me, I think a song that has 1 week at number one but is in the chart ages and has a great chart run is more successful.

September 23, 201014 yr Author The countdown will continue tomorrow afternoon about 1. Any comments would be appreciated
September 24, 201014 yr :o Crazy Gnarls Barkley is low for a 9 week stay at no.1! The record label made the stupid decision to delete the single so its initial chart run was 1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-2-5-out. It re-entered at the start of the next year on downloads very highly, so it would have had a very decent run had they not deleted it.

September 24, 201014 yr Some real classics there. I'm a bit surprised that 'Stan' is quite low as it wasn't released through that crazy 90s period. But oh well. I guess some songs from 2007 onwards will be undeservedly high because of the extension of their chart-runs during the download era.
