Looking at those older songs ... I actually miss the days when a song would gradually make it up to number 1 - even established acts like Diana Ross and DC5. Its so boring now just knowing that any bigged up artist will, 99%, of the time be going straight to number 1 ... even before they've been 'officially' released.
