Anyone else feel like the male cast is in the best shape it's been in ages at the minute?

For the first time Jack has been allowed to develop as a character without Ronnie in these recent weeks, Michael is an interesting enigma, obviously we've got established greats like Alfie and Max, and then there's Fatboy who is really creeping up as a favourite of mine... also Tamwar and Yusef. All good or great characters and I'd say Eddie Moon could join those ranks too soon enough.

Obviously 'oldies but goodies' like Phil, Ian and Masood aren't at their best lately but still.

I agree with you were Jark.

I can't wait to see how Jack will develop when Ronnie leaves next month as his character has been based around her since he came into the show really.

Amusing Michael/Ronnie spoiler...

Jack finds Michael in bed with Ronnie whilst she sleeps and he tells Jack he must have been sleepwalking?!

^ Haha can't wait for that!

UGH FAT PAT. :manson:

And is Max's constant staring out of the window at Tanya not creepying anyone out in the slightest? I know he's still in love with her and everything but EVERY BLOODY SCENE.

Max is the ultimate twitchy curtain nosy neighbour. It's quite funny, when you think about his character he really is a TOTAL WOMAN in every respect. He's incredibly melodramatic, he loves a good row, he's always nosing on the neighbours, he's always getting involved in his kids' love lives and he has an amazing arse!

And yet... he's manly too. He could take me any day of the week. Mmmmm(ax).

Loved the scene with Janine in the pub. Although after the comment what Eddie says to Pat at the end, i think Pat feels guilty and slightly believes Janine now.

I thought the performance of Rainie was rather good. I am suprised at the effect it took on Tanya though and it felt out of character for her to say she came at her with a knife as the lie.

I don't think this is the last of Rainie though. I think she comes back with Cora next month or August.

Bryan Kirkwood has said he's in the process of trying to lure a previous character/actor back...

I'm thinking Preeya Kalidas (Amira). She's been mentioned a lot recently and it'd be a great way of coming in the way of Christian and Syed's happiness.

I was never Amira's biggest fan but she's really what Syed and Christian need at the moment. It'd be interesting to see her relationship with the Masoods too.

It would make sense regarding a comeback from Amira. To divorce Syed and for him to discover he has a son/daughter.

Plus Preeya only left to do her music career and let's be honest, she's not really knocking Adele off the charts.
