The scene with jean in tuesdays episode dancing to cliff richard was hilarious, and all her other scenes were so brilliantly acted, i really really felt for her, it was fantastically written and delivered.
Jean dancing to Cliff Richard was both hilarious and utterly heartbreaking at the same time. Great television and I've actually found Jean's breakdown FAR more moving than anything else that went on this Christmas.

Wow is it me or was today shockingly bad ?

Ronnie on the phone to Jack who says "What's he like?" .. You'd think he'd be more excited about his newborn son

Or Ronnie/Heather on the tube, which you could obviously tell was infront of a green screen

I agree. When Jack was on the phone I thought he was acting like that and then was actually outside and runs in...sadly not. He didn't sound excited at all, you would think he'd sound more emotional!

I loved Kat's parts though, Alfie was hilarious. :D

I still find it completly atrocious that people are offended by things in TELEVISION SHOWS. Maybe it's just my very open minded approach to things but I'm not going to waste time complaining about a baby swap when there's far graver things going on in the world.

On a separate note, I found the episode tonight very cheesy. The whole speech from Roxy at the end was a bit too much to bear, especially as it was so cliche and we all know that poor baby is anything but the future. :(

Can you please use spoiler tags? That post pretty much tells everything that's about to happen in the upcoming episodes - not that I've actually purposely read any spoilers. -_-
I love Kat's performance in the cellar, I've only just seen the repeat on BBC3
kat weas fantastic and hilarious tonight, im really looking forward to some fantastic acting scenes by jessie wallace.

Oooh-er... Carol/Connor spoiler ahoy:

EastEnders' Carol Jackson will reportedly face prison when she claims that she is behind a brutal attack on Connor Stanley.

Carol, played by Lindsey Coulson, will make the false confession when her two-timing lover is attacked with an iron bar next month, The Mirror reports.

Covering up for the real attacker, Carol will apparently claim: "The whole situation's my fault. Only right I take the blame."

A source added: "This affair could tear the entire Jackson family apart. No-one will forget Connor in a hurry."

I'm going to go out on a limb and predict that

Bianca attacks him after she finds out about he and Carol, and even though Carol tries to take the blame Bianca will be sent down for a few months.

And about the

baby swap

storyline which begins tonight -

the reveal has already been filmed! Meaning we'll see it on screen by February.

:o

That soon?! Was expecting it to be the standard EastEnders two year drag out! Interesting!

Did you expect it to take two years to notice that the child has black hair?

WILL YOU SHUT UP. It could happen :kink:

Interesting spoiler regarding Carol

Jesse was hilarious. Wanna see how she does dramatic scenes with the upcoming storyline. From what i remember, she did a fantastic performance during the infamous "yes i am your mother" storyline.

oh man that was so hard to watch knowing what was coming and just waiting for it to happen. i just so wish she wouldn't do it cos she's just too nice for that :(
You know it's a great episode when SHANE RICHIE is second in the acting stakes to only Queen Sam herself.

Tomorrow is going to be so emotional...

Top notch episode tonight. Sam was incredible of course and it was nicely balanced out (as much as the death of a baby can be anyway) by some lightness from Tanya and Jane.
