I love the new kitchen in the Vic, the pub doesn't look much different apart from upstairs. And the new bust

I loved that Janine has Pat as "Fat Pat" in her phone. That's so her  I did genuinely feel sorry for her too near the end when she was talking to Ryan about being scared of losing him, in her own roundabout/borderline-bitchy way.

I thought it was a really good episode. I LOVE the pairing of Carol and Glenda. The actress who plays Glenda doesn't seem capable of doing overly-dramatic stuff but she's amazing with a twinkle in her eye and glass of wine in her hand.

Time for today's episode now. I'm forever behind.

I don't really have any sympathy for Janine on this one, because although she's right to be worried about losing Ryan, it's only because she's been such an utter tool these past weeks. However, I will never be able to truly dislike her whilst she still has moments of FABULOUSNESS like "Fat Pat". Janine/Pat are the best double act on the show right now.

Although Carol/Glenda could be the next big one. Like you say, Glenda is absolutely TERRIBLE except when she's on the wine. Luckily the past weeks have suggested that the writers have figured this out, and certainly they are now playing to her (only) strength.

I have to say I think I like seeing the Slater clan behind the bar, especially Jean rushing around poisoning the patrons. It really is a shame

that she's off, because I do think there's genuinely a place for her now even without Stacey. She bounces off Alfie, Kat and Mo fine, and they'd have made a pretty decent family unit.

I disagree about Jean. She and Stacey are THE great double act of the show because they're so versatile and I'd hate for either to be in the show without the other frankly.

Tonight's episode was fantastic. I roared with laughter several times, notably when Carol unveiled her botched hairdo and Tamwar tried to make that dinosaur metaphor happen for about five minutes.

I love Tamwar! "That's borderline!"

Another good episode tonight. It's actually great to see the Slaters in The Vic, to the point that I was disappointed to see Roxy behind the bar, and I'm liking all the subtle little changes in the pub. Nice Archie-related banter tonight as well, I like it when a big event like that isn't completely forgotten within a few months.

I USED to think that about Jean/Stacey, but I'm beginning to think that was partly because Jean ONLY ever interacted with Stacey. Recent scenes with Billy, and Kat/Alfie, have made me think I'd quite like to see her properly integrated in with the rest of the Square. Jean's good enough to stand on her own.
A bit shocked that Ryan and Stacey slept together. This storyline is just in it's buliding blocks right now.

They slept together!?

:o

To be honest, I'm just glad the Vic actually has a place to prepare all the food they seem to dish up finally...
I'm really the liking the Ryan/Stacey/Janine storyline. Janine even more dangerous by each episode. Poor Pat who just wants her to be happy.
Fabulous episode tonight. First hints toward a

baby swap

as Ronnie and Kat compared bumps perhaps?

What a mean thing to say. Kat <3

I'm sorry but she's been p***ing me off lately with the fake laugh, and the being obnoxious to anything alse that's not a Slater, and a did say after she had the baby, I'm not Janine after all :smoke:
