Black really is an all-time classic... just one of those records that will be around for always and always remembered fondly... in fact, all the Black singles from his first 2 albums were classics.

 

I haven't heard other songs by him. Maybe I must listen to them. That'd probably make me love his WL even more. You know when you get to know someone's music a little better his/her hits might sound even more genious to your ears.

EASILY Gwen. The Depeche Mode connection makes it especially brilliant. Should have been a single. Swoon.

Actually, I've listened to Gwen's again and it's nowhere near as good as the other two.

Gwen for me. She's amazing.

Hard to choose between the Black and Hurts songs. I loved the Black song when it was first released so it was good to see it finally be a hit a year later. The Gwen song is better than her usual output but comfortably third best out of the three.

Hurts is awesome, but Black better. And Zucchero`s cover!
