Where the streets have no name (I can't take my eyes off you) - what the heck, hardly a classic PSB hit, So Hard would better represent this era.

New York City boy - awful song. I Don't Know What You Want But I Can't Give It Any More is far better.

Home and dry - Okay enough

So Hard is alright but they have said it's not one of their own favourites. Where the Streets... is a bit pointless here though, makes too many covers/mash ups

New York City Boy is a gay classic and a surefire floorfiller everywhere

I Get Along > Home and Dry

I prefer Bilingual to Very by the way. Bilingual is just brilliant, Very doesn't sound very good these days as a whole although it was my ticket to PSB world

I like the feel of Bilingual as a whole but I find that the tracks don't stand out individually when pitted against their best stand alone tracks. I do have a soft spot for A Red Letter Day but have always felt it was out of place on Bilingual, it sort of ruins the flow of balearic/dance influences that the rest of the tracks have.

I may be biased towards Very as it's the album of theirs that I've listened to more than any other of theirs, I absolutely adored it when it was released. The sound has most definitely dated but I think it has a perfect mix of out and out pop tracks and more introspective ones, I'd be very interested in hearing an updated re-recording of it to bring it out of that clunky early 90s sound.

Very is their best album ever  Admittedly it's the one I grew up with. But for me it's that or Actually. Anyway, Popjustice reviewed the single today. It has a 3/4 beat apparently, like all of PSBs best songs (and all of Basshunter's )

Agree 100% with the bolded ones BUT I would add Dreaming of a Queen.

You can't beat Actually for me. 4 amazing singles, 4 other great tracks. Unfortunately Shopping and Hit Music are on there too. :(

For me, it's Please or Actually. Two Divided by Zero (Please) is just perfect opening track, Suburbia is perhaps their best single and I Want a Lover is a gem.

But any of their albums gets at least 4/5 stars from me

Can't really see this doing that well. They released a greatest hits set about 5 or 6 years ago and havent released anything that has made a big enough impact since.

I agree, Yes is an excellent album. Fundemental not so much, but it has it's moments.

Have you guys heard their cover of Alcazar's Love Life? That's pretty brilliant

Theirs is the original actually... they wrote it for them :P

I actually really enjoyed Fundamental on the whole, conversely I never managed to get into Yes. I liked Love Etc and the one towards the end that sounded like a Girls Aloud track though.

I think not releasing 'Vulnerable' and 'Pandemonium' in the 'Yes' era made this release a bit naff. As many have said before, they haven't released any new material that's made a big impact to merit releasing another Greatest Hits collection.

If PSB had released 'Vulnerable' and 'Pandemonium' from 'Yes', then I could've seen the whole era being more successful and ultimately a completely new album rather than a compilation and one single.

For some reason, I highly regard 'Love, etc,' as the Boys' best single. Even more odd, is that I LOVE 'Opportunities' and 'Did You See Me Coming?'. Neil's lyrics prowess was on top form when he wrote those three.

Didn't really like Fundamental apart from Minimal and the Ladyton-tastic Integral.

Really? It's very solid overall imo.. The ballads are brilliant and The Sodom and Gomorrah Show is one of the highlights of their 00s

Fundamental could do with one less ballad and one more uptempo track but aside from that it's one of their very best albums imo.

08 Psychological

10 The Sodom and Gamorrah Show

08 I Made My Excuses And Left

10 Minimal

03 Numb

-- God Willing

08 Luna Park

06 I'm With Stupid

07 Casanova In Hell

07 Twentieth Century

06 Indefinite Leave To Remain

11 Integral

09 Fugitive

Just playing it back and maybe it's not quite as consistent as I remembered but I do really like the seven tracks that have scored 8 or higher.

In the interests of comparison, here's my scores for Yes also:

10 Love Etc (really like this now, sounds different for them yet is still a song that only PSB would have recorded)

06 All Over The World

06 Beautiful People

08 Did You See Me Coming?

05 Vulnerable

05 More Than A Dream

01 Building A Wall

07 King Of Rome

08 Pandemonium

10 The Way It Used To Be

06 Legacy

07 This Used To Be The Future

These five tracks are probably their best album start ever. I adore Numb but that's probably because I have always had a soft spot for big ballads by Diane Warren
