WoTz17GWxjs Its based on the original series, seems its beefed up a bit, seen a few trailers on Living TV already, it does look pretty impressive. On a different note, Farscape might be coming back :o I was reading an article about it in a Sci Fi mag, it depends if they can find the right buyers for it, but don't hold your breath just yet.
September 30, 201014 yr The 4th episode is being shown today in the States. I've been watching it and it's pretty amazing. I remember something from the french series and that i loved it. :o

Been pretty interesting so far, although I hope there's more to it than just have her take down each Division mission every week. By the way, isn't Nikita a guy's name? I guess it's been adopted on girls, a bit like Kelly or Ariel.
September 30, 201014 yr I've been keeping up with the US pace, and the episodes have been getting better and better imo. Hope it isn't one mission per week, every week, as it could get boring very quickly, there certainly needs to be something more, but I don't know what else they could do really. But to say the people at Division are meant to be secret agents, they seem pretty stupid. How have they not figured out it's Alex? When she moved that computer man's drink in episode #3, so that he'd knock it over and be distracted, did he not think 'Hang on, that was there before'?

Yeah it surely should be a male name if the stress is on the second syllable (i don't know why they pronounce it like that!) but in the french series it was 'Nikita' with the stress on the last syllable iirc. Not all people would notice, I know. But they are meant to be secret agents, they are someone who should notice these slight details. And Alex was in the private area, without anyone watching her fully, for a few minutes, while he cleaned up his drink. She's not been there long, and they already trust her enough to let her in their private room, with all the computers on? :wacko: If Nikita is finding out about all the missions, then pretty much everyone needs to be a suspect.
September 30, 201014 yr The first target of suspicion was the computer guy. And they usually don't suspect everyone until they find out of their main suspect is a mole or not, and so on. They did find that bug, it's more than logical to stop further investigation. Plus Alex is pretty much like everybody else there. If suspect her, then suspect everyone, and that is not rational.

I don't see Farscape returning, it was supposed to happen in 2008 but didn't. Ben Browder would be too old for the role now, so unless they are looking at a new cast :unsure:
October 1, 201014 yr La Femme Nikita was created before Alias. FAIL. PLEASE. It's basically dropped everything that made the original decent and copied Alias (miserably).

Definitely the superwoman-assassin kind of woman! <3 Maybe some of the things were indeed copied from Alias but the whole thing is almost completely the other thing (apart from a woman trying to destroy an organization). If Alex has her father working there as a double agent and there will be MOTHER appearing soon - then i will withdraw all of my defence. :(

She is probably one of the few Asian women I find attractive. Haha. She looked especially hot at that pool party. BUT. I don't know, I just cannot see her throwing loads of muscular men around so easily. I love how her boyfriend that was murdered even has the same name as Sydney's (who was murdered, for the same reason). We'll see. I don't see it lasting another season anyway. Haha.
