SO glad it was renewed, probably my most fave new show!

I have a feeling that it'll only last for this next season though, the ratings were dropping each week. If it hadn't done so well in the beginning, I doubt it would've been renewed. :(

I think it should manage a 3rd season, with OTH ending and Gossip Girl & 90210 also quite likely to go (and I don't forsee great things for Hart Of Dixie). The Friday move hopefully won't hurt it, less competition now (Bones, CSI, Greys all had the Thu 9/8c time slot). I expect it'll be no higher than 5th on the renew/cancel index though, below TVD, Ringer, TSC & SPN.

^One Tree Hill has already been replaced as its only for mid-season next year so count that out

This turned out to be a surprise tbh.... I ended up quite liking it. Glad they didn't kill off Percy though, that would just be wrong...

 

The big question is will Alex become Alexandra....?

Brilliant opener! Didn't even feel like an Season opener. The fight scene between Alex and Nikita was painful to watch. I'm not liking this new version of Alex.

Well I don't want to invest on series that are likely to be cancelled, last year 5 of the shows I had been watching got cancelled. Nikita's ratings were average and we all know that most shows' ratings go down season by season (especially on the CW), so I'm going to wait on Nikita. If it gets renewed or ends properly I'll watch season 2, if it's cancelled on a cliffhanger, I won't. I've watched endless... end-less series.

It may be a bit early but under the new reign of the CW president, I think 90210/Gossip Girl are more likely to be cancelled than Nikita. And One Tree Hill is gone next year too so I doubt they are going to go for a mass cull.

ETA: Isn't Supernatural supposed to end too?

Well, seeing as though Nikita has been moved to Friday's they're probably expecting cancellation so I have every faith the finale will clear most things up.
