Posted March 19, 200619 yr Having young kids means I get to see all the modern kids films, including cartoons. But which are better, the classic Disney ones from the 40's to 60's like Snow white,Dumbo,Bambi,Jungle Book or the new ones like Toy story,Incredibles,Monster Inc etc Which ones do you prefer.
March 23, 200619 yr The Classic Disney-style of animation was part of my childhood, unfortunately, that is where it's stayed because when I look at them now I find them embarrassing; the new style of Animated Feature is a lot more knowing, more sophisticated in terms of plotting and structure, appeals to both kids and adults and technically vastly superior, sorry, but give me The Incredibles, Nightmare Before Christmas, Ice Age and Corpse Bride anyday.... But I would have to say that my favourite animated features all in all are Anime, stuff like 'Akira' and 'Ghost in the Shell' are just streets ahead of anything else....
