Push and Shove is incredible.

I'm going to wait to hear the album in full, little disappointed by people's reactions though.

I was interested until Gravity but that song lost me... Sparkle almost hooked me again but not quite.

 

This album sounds way too slick. The majority of it sounds like a continuation of the second half of LAMB: Serious, Danger Zone, The Real Thing and Crash. There's no crazy beats or massive bass lines - just programmed beats, synths and a few guitar twangs. It feels like it's lacking energy.

 

That said, I do have time for slick pop/rock songs and I reckon One More Summer is going to be pretty great, like an Early Winter sequel. However, when the first two singles are as brilliant as Settle Down and Push and Shove, the clips do leave a lot to be desired.

They filmed the Push and Shove video in New York last night. Definitely the second single, thank god.

They seem to be doing very well avoiding leaks on both Settle Down and the album!

Singles don't tend to leak in advance though, no? A lot of them are usually premiered on the radio and stuff. Plus if a song gets released digitally first - it's a LOT easier to not let it leak prematurely.

Where was all this UK promo they mentioned? I'm predicting 60-75 for the single and 30-50 for the album. Shocking.

I don't think the album will fail to go Top 10 given the sales climate at the moment. I mean if the Darkness can get to No.4, this failing to get Top 10 would be embarrassingly bad.

So will the album stream be available at midnight anyone know? Might stay up to listen but if it doesn't go on for a few hours I'll just get to it in the morning!
