OH MY GOD. It had BETTER come this year because I literally cannot cope with waiting any longer than that when she's already feeding us these teasers.

I hope this come soon and is absolutely huge. Rock Steady was so underrated! If they'd released Rock Steady any time from 2008-now it would've been way bigger.

The music industry is quite fickle these days. I'm not sure whether No Doubt will be considered too old and uncool when they come back around, perhaps even blacklisted from Radio One etc. I hope not, they seem to be putting a lot of effort into their new material, when Gwen actually puts her mind into her music it is always brilliant. 'The Sweet Escape' was so half-arsed and last minute.

'Rock Steady' could have been much bigger I agree, although it was fairly successful in the US.

"Gwen Stefani‘s in Cannes for a few reasons—sun, food, family fun—but the pop icon’s first order of business was shooting her third and latest commercial for L’Oreal. Yesterday, she spent twelve hours filming on a yacht, in a villa, and against an eternity pool (she swears she only got tired around hour 10). The campaign won’t debut until September (when No Doubt’s new album hits shelves), but she did offer one great hint after lunch this afternoon when I mentioned ELLE’s May cover. Though no one does a red lip quite like Gwen, the nude she wore on the cover was a big hit in our office—as well as L’Oreal’s. She said, “That’s what L’Oreal was really inspired by! We wanted that look for the commercial so we did a version of that—with the hair. I loved that hair; I was always very much into Bewitched and a Samantha look." As for tonight’s look, when she heads to Hotel du Cap for the annual AmFar gala, she’ll be wearing a dress of her own design. “I haven’t made very many couture gowns—it’s a big process and a lot of work and it’s a lot of pressure because there are so many beautiful gowns out there that I could wear, but I really wanted to make something with L.A.M.B. because I really wanted to auction it off,” Stefani said." SEPTEMBER. SO CLOSE.

IT'S FINALLY HAPPENING.

I love how she is slowly creeping back into the public eye (and looking as gorgeous as ever). NEED NEW MUSIC.

She really is one of those (very few) people who just never ages, isn't she? Gah.

MUCH EXCITE.

Slightly disappointed she is ruling out going solo again, although I suppose she would be reaching 45 when it would happen.

She'll still look younger/more like a marketable popstar at 45 than most do at 40!

SHE IS SO FINE.

I really cannot wait for this! It has been way to damn long!

Gutted about the lack of solo work but i guess it was to be expected! TSE was such a letdown after the amazingness of L.A.M.B :(

Excited for new album though, Rock Steady was a pretty good album ^_^

"With some nervousness Gwen Stefani & Co agreed to play two tracks from their upcoming record for EW.

One More Summer – A catchy driving with the top down single featuring synths, hand claps and New Order-esque guitars. "One more summer, one more weekend. You’re my lover, I’m your weakness.”

Settle Down – Under a dancehall beat (think Hey Baby) Stefani sings about trying to balance all aspects of her busy life." (Via Entertainment Weekly)

'One More Summer' is the song Gwen mentioned being huge! I'm sure they'll probably go with that for the first single (seeing how excited she was by it and how they played it to EW) and I can't imagine it coming out any later than August with that title. Sounds like a 'Teenage Dream' summer-winding-down sort of song but obviously I'm just making assumptions. I CANNOT BELIEVE THEY HAVE ALMOST FINISHED THE ALBUM. ACK.

Wish they'd get on with it already!

I've been hearing about One More Summer for almost one year now, is it?

Just release the damn thing!!

THEY ARE WORKING WITH DIPLO AND SWITCH. OH MY GOD.

WHAT WHAT WHAT
