October 3, 201014 yr Suedehead2 - 'Down Down' wasn't a 1973 No.1 for Status Quo. It entered the UK Charts in December 1974, & was No.1, (1 Week), On W/E 18th January 1975. Nor was it their only No.1 Single. They also went to No.1 in 1994 - with the Manchester United Football Squad. The Single was 'Come On You Reds', & it was No.1 - for 2 Weeks - in May 1994.

I've corrected the year for Down Down. The Quo weren't credited on Come On You Reds (at least according to Guinness) so I haven't included it.
