Thank you to the 40(!) people who took their time rating all 21 singles! The countdown shall commence today, and I've set the original topic as invisible for now, to prevent people spoiling the results! Please comment on the countdown and I hope you enjoy! :)

Seriously? All I saw was negative comments and crap rates for it, apart from an 11 from me and a couple of other high marks.

I wouldn't be surprised if it misses the top ten :snif:

So the song that is commonly regarded as Girls Aloud's weakest hour (I blame Sugababes personally), finishes dead last! 'Walk This Way' became the Girls' 3rd UK#1 single in March 2007, all in aid of Comic Relief, but quickly bombed down the charts afterwards. It's not a bad song by any means, as I do like it, but compared to the rest of the singles, it's incredibly weak. Although I don't think it deserves such a low average.

Haha! Yeap, definatly their weakest. Even the cheasiest of their other covers had some sort of appeal, this whilst I quite liked it at the time, 3 years on it really is quite dreadful. It was a tad embarassing at the time though, because it really did flop horribly.

I Think Were Alone Now out next please. And Biology for the win, though I suppose I'll have to settle for it finishing something like 6th.

I still love WTW, its a much better cover than Jump imo!
No surprise to see walk this way coming last as i dont think many fans of either act are a fan of it, Good start to the countdown!

20 ~ 'See The Day' ~ 5.575 ~~~ 9.0 from Crowan, Marina Hurts and Mike Sugafan ~ -1.0 from IggyMcPig

Up now is Girls Aloud's first (and only, to-date) Christmas-themed single; one of three singles released to co-incide with the battle for Christmas #1. This at the time became their lowest peaking single to-date, reaching #9 and spending only four weeks top fourty. This is one of my personal least-favourite songs of theirs, and it seems the same with the majority of Buzzjack. The Girls are much better than this song, and releasing a cover as a Christmas single (a strategy repeated the following year) is never a good move, so this fully deserves to place this low in my opinion!

Good to see their worst two singles in the bottom two. Hopefully 'I Think We're Alone Now' is next.
Think the covers will definitely bring up the rear, although Jump is a brilliant song.

 :(

And yes, I Think We're Alone Now needs to be out next! I'm pretty happy with the results so far (unlike the Nelly Furtado thing, where all my favorites seem to be disappearing).

I really like See The Day, much prefer it to I Think Were Alone Now anyway. I think it has quite the god-this-is-cheesy-but-in-a-good-way-vibe that ITWAN really hasnt managed to upload. It is still admittetly one of their weakest so I shouldnt be complaining too much.
See The Day is rather good imo, still shouldn't have been released a single though..

Noo! Girls Aloud's second UK#1 and first charity record finishes in an (underserving) place of 19th. This is one of my favourite covers of theirs, and despite its cheese at times, one of my favourite covers ever! The soft vocals from all five Girls are really nice and relaxing, and it's always the song I play to put me in a good mood. The video (despite being very simple) is sweet aswell; and it's all for a good cause!
