Ha Ha - Shayne Ward would have been #4 if it was not for the downloads.

Thank God for legal downloads.

Why was Shayne's downloads not counted?

Shayne

Nylon #16 thats atrocious damm downloads.

IT REALLY SHOWS HOW DOWNLOADS CAN CHANGE A CHART POSITION,im sure all invloved with shayne are cursing the downloads,as number 4 is respectable chart position where 14 is a huge flop in his case

:o.

Shocked about Shayne Ward. Once again, thank god for downloads! That said, they really do push some songs very, very far down. It's a lot harder for indie acts to get high up the chart nowadays. A shame about Milburn, they'd have been top 20. But like the combined chart or not, it's more accurate at the end of the day.

How ironic that Shayne's downloads for That's My Goal were exceptional, yet they totally destroyed him now

That's because the download was available within a couple of hours of the final credits of X Factor rolling and before the single was available in a physical format.

I'm surprised how well Sandi is still doing on physicals.

Downloads make the charts fairer overall, but I do feel sorry for the people that are suffering big chart drops as a result.

Wouldn't it be fair to say that Shayne would not be at no.4 if the charts were only physical and not download, as physical sales now reflect the fact that downloads are available, i.e. all those people selling less than him in physicals but with higher chart positions because of downloads might have bought physical copies of the singles by artists they like?

Therefore he might have still been out of the top 10 and a big messy flop!
