Better Than Today mid week 73

 

Hopefully it can manage top 75 on sumday but i have a feeling it wont, i would be very happy to be very wrong in saying that though!!

I think it will be between 60-65 actually.

I hope you are right dannyboy, id also be delighted if it manged the offical top 50 in Ireland tomorrow aswell.

It seems to be sticking on iTunes well, around #61 right now with about 8 other songs above being multiple versions.

I'm disappointed by the position but at least its charted. When you compare Shayne Ward who was on X Factor last week as well, he has gone top10. It was a poor decision to allow her on X factor 4 weeks before the proper release in my opinion. This would have been a guaranteed top10 placing had they got the dates write for x factor.

It's a bit different for Shayne Ward though, that's an actual new release whereas this has had to climb up from the bottom of nowhere to get where it is for now...

I have loved better than today since i first hears it and am delghted its a single.However i do realise as a single its a bit different for kylie ant it may not be everyones cup of tea.

I have to admit, since her X-Factor performance I have came around to the idea of this being a single a lot more. It still pales to just about all of her Parlo singles and an awful lot of past album tracks she's left behind though.

I would have to dis agree as i think get outta my way is by far plaes in comparsison to every other single and better than today as a single to me sounds brilliant comparison to get outta my way. For me though aphrodite is a great album and love it in its entirety but it does lack stand out singles. Although overall X was a weaker album it had far more stand out singles.

 

Im disapointed that after performing better than today on xfactor and it gets huge ratings here in Ireland aswell that Kylie was no where to be seen on this weeks irish charts, i was sure the album would have re entered this week.

 

As i previously said personnely i love better than today but im slightly worried that its not gona do great as a single and could possibly sell less than get outta my way.

I don't mind if it aint a big hit. It is doing its job by helping the album :)

When will the video be released? It's two weeks to go.

6th December isn't two weeks, although it should be here by now. Kylie said on Twitter yesterday that it's coming soon when someone asked when we'd see it.

Im looking forward to seeing the video and i hope its a good one.

Not for me. Too Much is the worst song on the album in my opinion.

Mine too, plus it was on that Mail on Sunday CD, BTT is a great choice.

I agree with regina and dannyboy and think too much would have been a bad single choice and as regina pointed out it was available on the free cd in the mail on sunday a few weeks back so that move was clear way of letting us know it wouldnt be a single at a future point.
