Ha, ask Buzzjack a geography question and watch hilarity ensue.

 

Yes, despite asking for a capital city in South America, some members of our beloved site opted to name a country, the capital of the US (a country in NORTH America), Los Angeles and the capital of that famous South American republic - Macedonia. Predictably, Rio (which is not the capital of Brazil, as most assume) racks up a few mentions and therefore points whilst POOR LIMA languishes lower down DESPITE being a correct answer.

 

I probably should've put my little pre-teen obsession with PERU aside for this question and plumped for something more likely like THE PACIFIC in my quest for points.

I actually struggled with this question myself, hence DARTS. (My original answer was going to be curling, lol.) That is until everyone else's responses started flooding in. I can't tell you how many times I kicked myself when I realised how many sports there are that aren't darts or curling.

 

Anyway, swimming understandably gets to the finish post first (my first and only sport-related pun) whilst Formula One brings up the rear and badminton gets bronze (I lied.)

 

I'd also like to direct your attention to the very bottom of this post where, for some reason, Alias thought that FOOTBALL was a sport played without a ball. Somebody please explain our national sport to this man pls. IT EVEN HAS THE WORD 'BALL' IN IT.
