"delusional fan and not capable of being objective at all"

I was just seeing what your response would be to someone saying kylie wasnt a good live singer (which she isnt exactly known for like both diana & katy).

Im far from delusional about Kylie. Thats why I didnt say she was known to be agreat vocalist. But she is better than most acts there and better than she is given credit for. Doesnt chnage the fact that Katy Parry is an atrocious singer.

For what Katy lacks in vocals, she has fairly decent stage presence. No different than a lot of pop stars.

Noone in the world has enough stand presence to make up for her lack of singing ability lol

I love reading the banter on Buzzjack when everybody argues over female singers.

I really liked both performances though, and to be honest, it's never bothered me a huge amount when I've discovered an artist I like doesn't sing well. I still like the songs so I keep listening to them.

I don't like Katy Perry's song ... but her performance of it was OK (or as good as could be expected - it seems like a bloody difficult song to sing).

Vickers on the other hand was just awful.

Some stars have both incredible vocals, and amazing stage presence - *cough* Beyoncé *cough* :kink:

I do think its hilarious that people arent that bothered that "singers" cant "sing" well. Im sure its norm a big factor. I like mu singers to be able to sing, oh well, maybe thats just me lol

Beyonce is all around entertainer.

Was that in response to me?

If so, we'll use Katy as an example. She didn't sing Firework amazingly well, however, Firework is an absolutely fantastic song, and there's absolutely no way I'm going to stop listening to it. Even if Katy couldn't hit a single note, I'd still listen to Firework, and I'd still love the song. How well Katy sings does not bother me.

Does that make sense? Other things I don't care about on songs are whether autotune is used, whether there's synthesizers, whether there is sampling, and whether the credited artist actually wrote the song.

Maybe i just prefer singers to have a talent, not just to be a victim of studio production. ANYONE can sound good in a studio. Katy Perry is a great example of that. I love hearing great catchy songs and I wont stop listening to Katy or Britney. I just like a bit of substance behind it,

I think you're going way overboard with this... her performance wasn't great but it wasn't the worst and you know, at least she does sing live on there unlike Britney or Cheryl Cole who don't know how to.

Besides, I have seen Katy give decent performances before.

 Do you just find any excuse to mention her name or something?

Diana's performance - I thought you guys were joking when you said you couldn't understand her

Is that what she sounds like when she speaks?

I actually thought it was that bad. I dont think ive ever heard a good vocal from her. I actually think she is one of the worst singers out there. Her and Rihanna. Juat great production behind her. I agree its gd that she sings live but tbh people like her I would rather she mimed lol

What some people don't understand is that Firework is a very hard song to sing as it has constant vocal changes and I was impressed she's pulled it off.

I like Diana but I can't understand a word.

Maybe it is a very hard song to sing. What her excuse for every other live performance?

Plus she can sing it well enough on the studeo version. Obviously I know live versions arent gonna be the same as studio versions but hers arent even close.
