Posted October 19, 201014 yr In the studio working on @officialblue & Anastacia collabo! Pure fire! @mrduncunjames we got another 1 mate LOL
October 27, 201014 yr I forgot Blue had even got back together. OH Anastacia, when did it come to this? :(
October 27, 201014 yr Nothing surprises me about the woman anymore. Not after the alliance with the evil that is LULU. I'm not sure where they think this is all heading. It is not 2004 anymore, and whatever material they fart out will undoubtedly have #114 smash written all over it.

I really doubt if Anastacia will ever score a decent hit again :(
October 28, 201014 yr This could be a duet for the new Blue album only, not a single, they're collaborating a lot! Why don't we actually wait to hear the song before judging?... Edited October 28, 201014 yr by Callum.
October 28, 201014 yr C'mon Callum, how can a duet with BLUE be anything other than the musical equivilent of a turd on a plate?
October 28, 201014 yr Lol, I know that, but it's a collaboration with Anastacia produced by the same guy who has worked on HER old stuff. ;)
October 29, 201014 yr I really doubt if Anastacia will ever score a decent hit again :( I think sadly the answer is almost certainly not. At the risk of bringing things back to that terrible Scottish wrench, when you reach the point where you're having to tour with LULU and Heather Small, the game really is up. Well, as far as the UK goes anyway. Mainland Europe remains a little more receptive to her I think. She's long lost any goodwill she may have had from the glory days over six years ago. She lost all momentum when she took over four years to get the fourth album out, and I don't need to go into another rant about the damage it did when that record finally DID hit the shelves. The only way she'd make it big again would be to win herself new fans, and in the age of GaGa, Beyonce, Pink, Rihanna et all, I just don't think camp old queen Anastacia is going to be doing it for anyone under the age of 40 anymore. She has been consigned to pop history for sure. In this particular scenario, it's all compounded because the same is true of Blue. They were popular in their day, but they never really reached boyband legend status in the same way that Take That, or even Boyzone and the Backstreet Boys did, and absolutely NOBODY was clamouring for a comeback from them. Put simply there's NO interest there. Lol, I know that, but it's a collaboration with Anastacia produced by the same guy who has worked on HER old stuff. ;) And undoubtedly this will please what remains of her old fanbase, but it's not going to be winning her any new fans. The world has moved on from 'sprock'.
October 30, 201014 yr Her old stuff as in Not That Kind, not sprock. I don't think the world has moved on.

This is very true. She does still have a shot in Europe, if all is done right (which I don't see happening)
October 30, 201014 yr Her old stuff as in Not That Kind, not sprock. I don't think the world has moved on. But that's what she tried to do with the last album, and look how that turned out! Car-crash. If the sprock has dated, the 'Not That Kind' pop/funk sound DEFINITELY has.
October 30, 201014 yr The drastic change of sounds is what killed her image. NTK was very pop/funk/soul, FON was pop/funk/dance, sprock on Anastacia and ALL OF A SUDDEN the (not so good) electropop. The difference was to big, social suicide.
October 31, 201014 yr I CAN FEEL YOU IS AMAZING. Well I think that safely renders your opinion NULL and VOID. It's easily one of the WORST singles I've heard in a LONG TIME, let alone as a major comeback single. Totally half-arsed.

October 31, 201014 yr The beat so phat, gonna make me cum in ICFY. It is pure class. Do not quote God$ha in this situation. Nuhuh.
