October 23, 201014 yr I'm going to be different Nelly will be #1 next week, not every performance on X Factor is guaranteed a #1. :P
October 23, 201014 yr I have question why do the mods really care about what we post as long as we follow rules we be fine but its good to have arguments sometimes Because arguments leed to insults/personal insults. Discussion is much more welcome! This is a discussion forum not an argument forum ;)
October 23, 201014 yr Because arguments leed to insults/personal insults. Discussion is much more welcome! This is a discussion forum not an argument forum ;) Yes but people saying cheryls coles song is awful an insult to cheryls fans in my opinion I like discussion :D but arguments are inevitable  Edited October 23, 201014 yr by Jmh123
October 23, 201014 yr Yes but people saying cheryls coles song is awful an insult to cheryls fans in my opinion I like discussion :D but arguments are inevitable  Why is it an insult to Cheryl's fans? They should respect that others have different opinions. People have diverse tastes. You hate Rihanna's song, so that means this is an insult to the Rihanna fans? No, you're wrong, arguments are evitable, imo it's just the question of being clever: if you want to sink to a level where an argument is like "Cheryl is awful" "No, Cheryl is great, Rihanna is awful". This is totally pointless.

October 23, 201014 yr people are having these arguments all the time And mods are there to avoid this., because that makes the forum less attractive.
October 23, 201014 yr And mods are there to avoid this., because that makes the forum less attractive. Yes thank you mods for sorting out the problems :)
October 23, 201014 yr Yes thank you mods for sorting out the problems :) Sarcasm much? :heehee: OK, now I hope this is clear and you don't have any more such questions, so now you can cheer for Cheryl (and get back on topic :P)
October 23, 201014 yr Author I'm going to be different Nelly will be #1 next week, not every performance on X Factor is guaranteed a #1. :P So you null voted. :P

October 23, 201014 yr Yeah, it would be pretty amusing if neither got #1. This almost happened earlier this year, when it was Chipmunk vs. Diana. I think Usher was only like 5,000 off returning to #1, and had a decent lead on iTunes by the end of the week, and Chipmunk didn't even get top 2.
October 23, 201014 yr i want rihanna, i think it'll be cheryl :( This. :( I may have charted Cheryl and not Rihanna but i'll probably fownload Only Girl and buy her album. Yes but people saying cheryls coles song is awful an insult to cheryls fans in my opinion I like discussion :D but arguments are inevitable  Thats a pretty silly thing to say. When someone says a Kylie song is awful, I don't take it as an insult and i am sure other Kylie fand don't either. If people don't like her then it is thir opinion :) Not always, although you seem more likely to start an argument. Like in the Scream thread, mods were very right in saying we were not sticking to the topic but you got defensive and sarcastic. Chill dude, we can have good discussion without arguements :D
October 23, 201014 yr Yes but people saying cheryls coles song is awful an insult to cheryls fans in my opinion  Seriously? If people don't like a Beyoncé song, I don't take it as an insult... People are entitled to their opinions, and are fully in their right to like or dislike a song. It would only be an insult to me if someone, for example, posted: "Beyoncé is a fat cow, and she can't sing". I think you take things a bit to personally, in my opinion.

October 23, 201014 yr I don't think it's so much when you say "I don't like this song", but when you criticize the artist as a person (e.g. "I don't like My Wicked Heart", rather than "I hate Diana Vickers"), or when you criticize their fans (e.g. If someone said "I hate JLS fans. They're all stupid little girls who need to get a life and like the same music as I do").

Saying that the killer fancied Courteney Cox. I know i did it too so don't get arsey. Your starting one here :P So, is Rihanna actually getting a slot on X-Factor.
October 23, 201014 yr If anyone said that, I'd punch them  I've gone crazy when people have said stuff like that :kink:
October 23, 201014 yr The Rihanna song is miles better so I'd much rather she get to the tgop spot but Cheryl will probably do it due to the mighty x factor exposure.
October 23, 201014 yr Want Rihanna but think that awful Cheryl song will get it. I swear that if anyone else released it, even someone as big as Rihanna, it would stuggle to go top 5 or even top 10 -_-
