"The Boys" will premiere in some US radios (English Version) for their debut on the 18th.

 

The Boys teaser played in Times Square for 1 month

According to our source article, "The Boys" teaser vid will be playing in Times Square for a full month in order to promote the maxi single.

The appearance of teaser video for ‘The Boys’ in major cities around the world marks the start of SNSD’s global promotions.

Since October 17th, the teaser videos have been displayed on huge billboard to announce the girls’ comeback in highly populated area such as New York’s Times Square, Tokyo’s Shibuya, Shinjuku, Harajuku and other 5 areas, Wangfujing Street in Beijing as well as in Kangnam, Seoul.

 

Particularly, ahead of the release of the maxi single in US in November, the billboard displaying ‘The Boys’ the teaser videos will be up for a month at New York’s Manhattan Times Square.

 

SNSD’s new song ‘The Boys’ will be released simultaneously worldwide via iTunes and other music sites on October 19th. Meanwhile, Interscope’s artist list on their website (http://www.interscope.com/artists/) has been updated with the addition of Girls’ Generation.

Hmmm, it's good, but it's not really everything I hoped it would be. The song lacks a big chorus, and some of the video effects are just plain rubbish but they all look fabulous and it has a very powerful sound. I just hope there are better things on the album...

I just downloaded the album, ask me if you want a link. I have a copy on order from CDJapan so I felt I had the right :kink:

 

Just started listening and Telepathy has put all my fears to rest - it sounds like a Johan Becker song translated into Korean, which is to say amazing 80s influenced europop - even if it sounds like they're singing Telepussy :ph34r:

I've just found a link, I'm buying it when it's out so it's fine :P Downloading now to listen right away, much excite :wub:

Trick is another TRACK OF LIFE *.*

I love Telepasy, Trick and Top Secret.

 

It's a shame they used a very Americanized song for their lead single, this is so far their worst title trick imo...

 

EDIT: Tom and Liam, if you would pick would you choose SNSD's The Boys or Brown Eyed Girls' Sixth Sense into the BJSC... I can't pick..

The Boys is better but Sixth Sense would do better. Just go for which one is your favourite!

Ahhh... I love them both though.. I will decide I guess at the very last moment as at the moment I can't pick.

 

I'll see whether The Boys will grow off me quickly or not.

I actually think The Boys could do very well, it has a very American sound and American acts have done well in the contest lately. I love Sixth Sense though, def my fav Brown Eyed Girls song ever. That said if it was down to me I would send Telepathy :kink:

 

Actually the WHOLE ALBUM is better than The Boys tbh... Top Secret, Oscar, especially Say Yes and Trick... :heart:

 

That said The Boys is a better lead single than Baby Baby. But only that one :(

Ever since you mentioned it has a euro sound, I was going to send Telepasy as it might do well due to the europop sound.

 

Another question would be whether the English Version or the Korean Version of The Boys, the English Version flows better but the lyrics are so cheesy so Korean can conceal the cheesy lyrics maybe? :P

I think the English version might have been better. I don't see it as that cheesy, amd the rap sounds better in English. But I get the impression you changed your mind for BJSC now.

I just don't think this song is going to fit well as it's very generic, BUT the good news is, I only did this in order to put forward Telepussy into my next possible candidate in the next contest :wub:

 

Afterall, it's a new theme every week and next week will be something europop sounding :P
