Posted October 27, 201014 yr So today marks 18 months since the release of Girls Aloud's 21st and last single (so far) 'Untouchable' which was released on 27th April 2009. I actually can't believe its been a year and a half since they released something! I miss them :cry: Going to have a Girls Aloud play day today! :heart:

October 27, 201014 yr Well, we got Cheryl's first album and now we're getting her second and Nadine's first album, so it's not a complete silence. While Cheryl's material is a quite different direction from GA - some of Nadine's stuff actually could be very Girls Aloud-esque (e.g. Red Light)... Of course it's not the same and is kind of sublimation, but it's more than nothing. :lol: Anyway, judging that Nicola and Sarah are apparently recording too and Xenomania are in the state of the "alive corpse" + Nadine's VERY separate from the other Girls - I don't think we'll hear something from GA soon, and when we hear it - the direction of their material could change hell a lot... (see Higgins' madness).
October 27, 201014 yr It seems so weird that it's been that long... And just under a month after this, I saw them live for the first time! :D But we then got the Singles Collection boxset and then the tour DVD/CD, so it's not all bad. I'm playing 'Out of Control' now to reminisce, as you may say. :')
October 28, 201014 yr I still don't get the Radio MIx, it completely butchered the beauty of Untouchable, the length, the waiting for the Nadine bit, and all. I need to have a little listening do soon :heart: once we get through the Cheryl/Nadine releases.
