This really is turning into the disaster of the year for Roll Deep  I can't remember the last time somebody followed consecutive #1's with such a complete flop. Makes Green Light seem like a long time ago, when in reality it was three months back!

Tinchy I'm less surprised at. His star has been fading at a rapid pace, and Taio's chart history is so erratic, he can't be looked upon to guarantee a smash.

What is so special with the Alexis Jordan track, I really can't connect with the track it sounds like a cheap Belle Amie track
Everything Alesha touches flops nowdays.

Blame Strictly  Amusing that the show that revived her career has now practically killed it again.

Pleased to see Roll Deep struggling. They really are diabolical and pretty much define everything wrong with current chart music with their rubbish songs that sound the same and non-#1s :puke2:

7. Stay - Shakespears Sister

35. Yeo Valley Rap (feat. Mr George & Lisa Roxanne) - Yeo Valley Boyz

55. Livin' On a Prayer - Bon Jovi

58. White Knuckle Ride - Jamiroquai

72. Rude Boy - Rihanna

95. Breakaway - Kelly Clarkson

98. Poison - Alice Cooper (SCD)

It also doesn't help that 'Second Chance' is pretty much verging on non-song territory. Proof that you cannot get a top 10 just by having flavour of the month featuring on your track. It's not Sean Paul in 2003 anymore.

The same could end up being applied to McFly when they release 'Shine A Light'. Woukdn't be at all surprised if they struggle to make the top 20.

Blame Alesha's record company for choosing such a hidious track as a comeback single. Shame though as 'Take Control' is a decent song imo and honestly thought Roll Deep had a good chance of making the top 10.

SAL is being released as a free download so it'd be an achievement for it to even go top 40.

Oh, I didn't know that. Probably just as well otherwise it would've likely ended up being McFly's lowest charting single.

so Shine a Light is just a free download? thats a bad moce, could have been a big hit

It'll be available for paid download as well, but it'll lose a load of sales to the free D/Ls

Chase & Status' new song is also put up for both free and paid download next week. It wouldn't have done awfully well even if there wasn't a free download, but still.

I hope shakepears sister can keep climbing and hopefully make top 40 in the offical chart next sunday.

It'll obviously make top 40... did you mean top 10?

See how Peter Andre has released his album on saturday on itunes.. does this mean he will have an extra day of album sales?

#17 & #28 The Saturdays

#39 - Tinchy Stryder and Taio Cruz

#42 - Roll Deep (Quite a dissapointing start !!! )

Nope, in terms of next week's chart, he'll have actually lost sales, and it will register as a climber from about #197 on Sunday's chart
