Most of the new releases stabilising somewhat is good to see, and I'm glad to see Pixie make top 40 on iTunes. Don't expect she'll be there this time tomorrow though :kink:

Admittedly not the busiest week but still very much notable :o Duke is doing incredibly, 'Need U' was only a #27 hit in Ireland. Little Mix aren't performing poorly either, in fact I wasn't sure I expected them to do this well in the UK let alone Ireland. Other interesting stuff:

'Tsunami' has been out for ages in Ireland but it smashing in the UK has inevitably led to it blowing up here, wouldn't be surprised to see it #1 in a few weeks.

Not sure what the second wind for this is but seeing as it charted at #43 in week 1, I could see it possibly cracking the top 40 this week.

I forgot to say, Beyoncé was in Ireland this week and the tour effect has been in full force :lol: Wonderful to see 'Partition' and '***Flawless' so high, though I can't say I'm as happy to see 'Run The World' back, and I wasn't happy to see 'Best Thing I Never Had' earlier either.

This was released last Tuesday, so it may have been higher at some point in the week.

 

Kinda boring week for releases.

 

 

Ireland isn't really very exciting in comparison to the UK because half the songs are released OA/OS and half aren't. I think 'Irish Celebration' has actually turned into a St. Patrick's Day theme song, which is kind of embarrassing :lol: I'm glad to see HAIM top 100 though, they seem like such an Irish-friendly band and I'm really impressed by them getting a post-album hit.
