Twice? You mean TT4? Was it Beautiful World?

BW took about 26 days I think. The Circus took 18 days.

A fair number will be getting bought as mammy and granny Xmas prezzies. They'll all get returned on Boxing Day after said mammy and granny are admitted to casualty in severe shock

There's a point. If a CD is returned, do the sales figures show a reduction?

#1 for a 5th week running according to the mids - no sales but a 50% increase in sales - so 300K+ is likely - taking the album over the 1.4M mark already. Next week sales will be even higher with the week after that a huge decline obviously - 1.7-1.8M is very likely as I said a few weeks ago. :D
Progress is on course for at the very least 300K this week. It has already sold near 150K up to yesterday - and has seen a 75% increase compared to this time last week. 400K would be possible although perhaps not now the snow is due to make a return tomorrow or the next day therefor impacting on the Saturday sales which should be massive.

Snow :(

Of course 1mm of the stuff will cause a crisis of apocalyptic proportions in Southern Englandshire.

I on the other hand will only be deterred from my weekly visit to Tesco by a severe avalanche burying me on my way to the car :smoke:

What song did TT sing at the Royal Variety thing? Has that show been aired yet?

I wouldn't mind a white Christmas for once but it will prob snow all week and then be gone by next Saturday.

Royal Variety is on tomorrow night on BBC. They sang The Flood plus another track from the album - SOS or Kidz - or so I've heard. Prob won't bother screening it though and we wll just be treated to the 574th televised performance of The Flood. :D

I am not at all surprised...I was in HMV this evening & the album was selling fast & they had KIDZ playing in the store ..sounded fab

In my local xtra vision (main cd and dvd shop of the town) progress was completly sold out and they are hoping they have stock in the morning, a fiends of mine wanted to buy it and with the snow so bad xtra vision arent guaranteed a delivery either.
It definitely seems to be a polarising album though. Reading all the reviews on Amazon people either love or hate it. Which must mean one thing. It ain't bland!
Bland it certainly cant be described at, its a good mixture overall and i think mixed enough to keep take that and robbie fans happy plus some new fans along the way aswell.
let's celebrate Progress' 5th consecutive week at #1 in the UK!

It's already on over 150K - 250-300K is likely - had Xmas not been on Saturday - 400K would have been even possible.

1.8M remains likely before the end of the year - must be one of the high sales for a years best selling albumin a LONG time. The Circus even thought it has massive success over Xmas - sold around 1.4M (the norm for best sellers for a year generally - rarely do they sell over 1.5M) and took roughly 7 months to hit the 1.8m Progress is likely to have sold this week and next. If they pick the correct singles and continue strong promo - plus perhaps even a deluxe ediition for next Xmas with a new track - ala Rule The World - it could even overtake Beautiful World's UK tally. Overall worldwide 3M overall sales are likely by this time next year.

Oh this will be interesting :cheer:

Where has Jason gone btw?

Robbie took lyrics to The Flood from Star Trek and Star Wars? Figures.
