November 7, 201014 yr Paije Richardson Rebecca Fergusson ~ Matt Cardle Aiden Grimshaw One Direction Wagner ~ TreyC Cohen Mary Byrne ~ Cher Lloyd Katie Waissel Bottom 3 prediction: Katie, TreyC, Cher Bottom 2 prediction: Katie, TreyC EDIT: According to the usual poster on DS these are the voting results as of midnight last night (which I don't trust, but y'know, speculation is fun). "Rebecca is in the top 3 for a 3rd week in a row. She is there along with matt and aiden. One direction and cher are way behind in terms of perxentages but are still in the top 5. The bottom 4 are treyc katie wagner and mary so paije is coming 5th. She said treyc was coming last, followed by katie then mary! Wagner not that far off." (I would like to point out here, as was on DS, that it is impossible for Paije to be 5th if both Cher and One Direction are in fact Top 5) So using the info, this is roughly where people are in the voting. Matt Rebecca Aiden One Direction Cher Paije Wagner Mary Katie TreyC NOTW are also reporting that TreyC is on 1% and Katie just above her on 3%, which supports this "leaked" Bottom 2, but for most people, that is just spelling the obvious. November 7, 201014 yr Could we be in for a shock tonight ? I think it could be anyone out of TreyC, Katie, Wagner and Paije going home
November 7, 201014 yr For how many more weeks are Mime Direction going to mime there way through a whole song and none of the other judges say anything. It is a complete joke, Matt has sealed his win but I wonder if he can avoid the curse of the male winner.I fear Treyc will be in the bottom three but vote for her.I want Katie and Wagner to go.
November 7, 201014 yr I wouldn 't miss Mary, Wagner, Katie or TreyC tbh. They've all never stood out or have lost the spark of what made them interesting in the first place. As for the Weasel - last night was the only good song she's ever performed and that was horrific at best. It's a five horse race this year and the next couple of weeks are going to see those four [and eventually Paije] cleared out.

Matt is unique from other past male singers in that he already has an album out there for people to judge (with his band Seven Summers), so people know just how brilliant he is in his genre (indie/rock and what a great songwriter he is). If he does win Syco should sign his band and rather than concentrate on giving him bland covers as a solo artist, concentrate on nurturing them into the next big thing with Matt at the helm. Honestly, given the quality of this album they could give Arctic Monkeys a run for their money with the right promotion.
November 7, 201014 yr I haven't heard the album yet, but I do like the idea of having a British Daughtry :)
November 7, 201014 yr I think there will be a surprise bottom three and I am going for Katie, Mary and either Paije/Wagner.Katie just has to go her voice is getting worse and her personality is still as irritating as crabs.
November 7, 201014 yr Watching the performances now on YouTube, brilliant - saving so much time doing it this way. :D Cher - Empire State Of Mind 7/10 Having read some comments earlier I was expecting a tragic performance. This wasn't so bad imo but agree with the overall sentiment that it was never going to be on the same level as 'Stay' last week. Mary - There You'll Be 4/10 Wow, that was woeful. Watching it on YouTube, you could clearly see by the expression on Mary's face after the song that she wasn't happy with the performance. Not surprised as this was a terrible song choice for Mary - her vocals just don't suit the song whatsoever. Not horrific in a Danyl Johnson way but definitely not as strong as previous weeks. Katie - Don't Speak 3/10 OMG, another mess. There literally wasn't one bit of this song that grabbed my attention in a "wow, what a fantastic vocal". The musical equivalent of a pancake. The ad libs (I assume that's what they were supposed to be) towards the end were painful to listen to. Aiden - Nothing Compares 2 U 4/10 When I was 9, I thought Sinead O' Connor's version of this song was "boring" ( :drama: ) where as now I think it's one of most stunning covers of all time. Aiden's version, however, just left me feeling a little bit cold. I'm slowly getting more and more bored Aiden. His vocal do absolutely nothing for me and his lack of uptempo songs suggests he's still milking 'Mad World' from 5 weeks ago. God forbid he gets to the semi final - more ballads await. Leave that to Westlife - you're supposed to be an "eccentric" personaility, bring that to your performances lad. -_- Paije - I'm A Believer/Hey Ya! 7/10 What an inspired mash up. :D The two tracks work brilliantly together. Have to admit, Paije sounded far better singing 'I'm A Believer' and sounded like he was trying too hard and failing miserably singing 'Hey Ya!'. Overall though, much better than the previous four performances. To think Paije was a "wild card". :manson: I actually think Paije will last longer than Aiden - or maybe that's just wishful thinking on my behalf. Rebecca - Make You Feel My Love 9/10 Out of all this years contestants, I would definitely consider buying an album by Rebecca. Even without the visuals, her vocals alone tick all the boxes for me. I absolutely adore Rebecca's voice. Not quite a 10/10 watching this on YouTube but still easily the best performance so far. Wagner - Viva La Vegas/The Wonder Of You 2/10 Stunning!!! Actually, after the car crash that was 'Viva Las Vegas', at least Wagner somehow managed to sing 'The Wonder Of You' okish. Funnier than Jedward, hell yeah!!! Just...the novelty is wearing thin now. Matt - The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face 10/10 Easily my fave male contestant. This was an excellent vocal performance but then I've come to expect nothing less from Matt. Recently it's been Rebecca getting my highest score but this really is worthy of 10/10. Kudos to Matt. Then again I've been championing Matt and Rebecca since the live finals started. By far the two most consistant singers in the competition. TreyC - I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing 8/10 Aah yes, I saw this last night. Definitely a better performance of the song than Danyl's butchering last year. This is a great vocal performance from TreyC. Shame she doesn't connect with the public, I much prefer TreyC than Katie. One Direction - Kids In America 4/10 I don't think it matters what they sing, they always end up sounding like Westlife when they sing together. Even with these uptempo songs. The only time a One Direction performance is sounding relatively good is when Liam sings the verses by himself. He's blatantly carrying the other four boys to the final. -_- No other boyband manages to produce this tye of sound. When Take That, or JLS sing together it sounds better because they harmonise. When Westlife and now One Direction sing together, they all sing the exact same melody in the chorus showing no depth to the vocals at all. They should call themselves Two Dimensional. Overall rating: Matt - 10/10 Rebecca - 9/10 TreyC - 8/10 Paije - 7/10 Cher - 7/10 One Direction - 4/10 Mary - 4/10 Aiden - 4/10 Katie - 3/10 Wagner - 2/10 Prediction for bottom two? Well if everyone is still voting Wagner for a laugh, he'll be safe. I suspect we could see Katie back in the bottom two again along with Aiden? I hope Paije and TreyC are safe at this point of the competition as they gave great performances.

November 7, 201014 yr I love Treyc and she has a small fanbase on DS, please vote for her -09.It will be a shame if this woeful contest loses more of the good singers that do not mime

I'm really surprised that Aiden is doing so well. Clearly I'm out of touch with this lad as I just don't "get" his style. It was great in week one but now I'm finding myself increasingly bored of Aiden week on week. As for TreyC, she really deserves better than last place. Her performance pissed all over Katie's butchering of 'Don't Speak' so it makes you wonder how the British public vote. Wagner not being bottom 2 isn't a surprise - he's like Ann Widecombe in Strictly Come Dancing - crap, but the public vote for them just to p*** off Simon Cowell.
November 7, 201014 yr If Katie and Treyc are bottom 2, I guess the judges will take it to deadlock, both acts have been in the bottom 3 for a while now, and I bet Cheryl will choose Katie over Treyc
November 7, 201014 yr If Katie and Treyc are bottom 2, I guess the judges will take it to deadlock, both acts have been in the bottom 3 for a while now, and I bet Cheryl will choose Katie over Treyc am i right in thinking it's a double? in which case it looks like cheryl's losing 2 tonight
November 7, 201014 yr am i right in thinking it's a double? in which case it looks like cheryl's losing 2 tonight As far as I know its a single elimination it was announced on the X Factor show last night. Unless its different tonight.
November 7, 201014 yr this weeks youtube views: Matt Cardle- 115,705 Cher Lloyd- 49,479 Rebecca Ferguson- 44,434 One Direction- 35,904 Aiden Grimshaw- 35,059 Katie Waissel- 27,287 TreyC Cohen- 25,849 Mary Byrne- 25,143 Paije Richardson- 24,009 Wagner- 17,444 taking these and that supposed 'leak' into account, I think Katie and TreyC could well be both in the bottom 2, so as two are going, they could both be on their way out - although, Wagner could still be there, this could be the week the novelty wears off- it happened to Jedward this time last year, Mary bottom 3 also wouldnt surprise me Edited November 7, 201014 yr by chart wizard
November 7, 201014 yr I think Mary will probably be safe tonight, she'll probably get loads of sympathy and worry votes.
