Posted November 9, 201014 yr Introducing the Beady Eye http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/d/de/Beadyeye.jpg The band consists of Gallagher, who has formed Beady Eye with Gem Archer, Andy Bell and Chris Sharrock. Their first single is 'Bring Back From The Light' will be released tomorrow as a free download on their website. I'm excited about hearing this. I wonder if Liam's sound will be different to Oasis' sound. Album expected in 2011. DISCUSS
November 10, 201014 yr I don't hold great expectations for this, save that the simplistic songwriting of Noel Gallagher will be removed from the mix. I don't think Andy Bell will suddenly return to the Ride sound though, and I can't see Gem Archer repeating his sole good song 'Sleep Freak'. I expect it'll sound like an unremarkable late Oasis album track.
November 10, 201014 yr THe download is just called Bring The Light. It doesn't sound half as lazy as late period Oasis but when I heard it unknowingly on 6music I thought it was Primal Scream.
November 12, 201014 yr It's not that bad actually and Liam sounds the best he has since 1994 - unless they really did get Bobby Gillespie in for this track. Not essential by any means but a lot better than I expected.
November 13, 201014 yr I really love the single.... but then, I think I'm the only person in the world who thought the final Oasis album was the best they'd ever done..... and this isn't that dissimilar. On a related note - has anyone seen Liam's clothing range, Pretty Green? It's a bit pricey - but there's some truly stunning shirts, scarfs, jackets and t-shirts. Google their website.
November 15, 201014 yr Great tune Its Jerry lee lewis with a splash of primal scream can't wait for the album

May 17, 201114 yr I had no interest in this project to start with, but the album is much better than I expected it would ever be. The three singles are great!
May 18, 201114 yr I'm going to Oxegen on the Satruday and I see they're playing. I'll give them a listen sans prejudice, but they'll have to impress me.
May 20, 201114 yr new single BEADY EYE - 'MILLIONAIRE' excellent! fans think that you are gonna find in the album even better tracks!!! "the beat goes on", "kill for a dream" or "for anyone" , "morning son" or "wigwam"... probably the most underrated album of the year
