November 13, 201014 yr Matt - Goodbye Yellow Brick Road Finally, one of the more consistant performers. I don't think that Matt would benefit from being signed to Syco but he's definitely one of this years strongest X Factor performers. Great singer with his own unique style which can't be faulted. 9/10
November 13, 201014 yr The first half of the song = poor The second half of the song = really good I'm swaying towards those who say 'overrated' though.
November 13, 201014 yr Matt = 9.0 Predictable song choice for him. I think Dannii says: "We´d better not take any chances". Great vocals as always though. Matt = 9.0 Katie = 8.0 Mary = 8.0 Aiden = 7.0 Paije = 5.0 Edited November 13, 201014 yr by Jason
November 13, 201014 yr Matt Cardle: Another very good performance, his vocals are so strong and I love him but I dunno why but I found it a tiny bit more boring than usual tonight. Still very good though. - 8.0/10
November 13, 201014 yr Matt - I haven't really much to say about Matt at this point, he's consistently great. 9/10 Matt - 9/10 Mary - 8.5/10 Katie - 7/10 Aiden - 7/10 Paije - 6/10
November 13, 201014 yr If anyone thought Katie's track was great, they need to be sectioned off Listen to it again, then listen to her version of 'Don't Speak'. You soon realise how much better her performance tonight was. That's not saying much, as her vocals are far too weak to carry a tune successfully.
November 13, 201014 yr Matt- 8/10- after an extremely average night, its very good to see Matt come out- whilst not his best, still a great performance :)
November 13, 201014 yr Author Katie was good, but that was basically the backing track - thank god I couldn't hear her vocals! The performance was $h!t though. Matt was good, but not his best; infact, it was probably one of his worst (yet he is incredibly consistent anyway so it doesn't matter). I would rather a female win though than it be so obvious as to him winning so early. :( 01. Matt Cardle --- 02. Katie Weasel --- 03. Aiden Grimshaw 04. Mary Bryne 05. Paije Richardson
November 13, 201014 yr The beginning being a little quiet was the only thing stopping that from being my joint favourite Matt performance along with last week. Probably my third favourite performance of his after ...BOMT and FTEISYF. Edited November 13, 201014 yr by Bray
November 13, 201014 yr Katie was diabolically awful then, there were some improvments as the song went on but the worst of the night to date and really love, it's time to go home now. And there was no on-stage breakdown. You dissapoint me Waissel. Matt was allright. I'm still not getting the hype and Helena Boham-Carter lets me down by being a fan. I think I fell into a coma halfway through his performance. 01 Mary 02 Aidan 03 Paije 04 Matt 05 Katie
November 13, 201014 yr EVERY WEEK in Cher's VT they either play 'Promise This' or 'FFTL' in the background.
November 13, 201014 yr Cher = 5.5 Katie is right she's not the fake one in this competition. Cher is the fake one. Awful notes, awful performance. She can't sing, she's an actress only! Matt = 9.0 Katie = 8.0 Mary = 8.0 Aiden = 7.0 Cher = 5.5 Paije = 5.0
November 13, 201014 yr Cher - Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word/Mockingbird Hmm, I was really impressed with the first bit but I don't understand the reason for the Eminem rap. I'd have much preferred to have heard Cher sing just 'Sorry...' without any rapping involved. It's not clever but I still thought she gave a good vocal performance (when she was singing). 7/10
November 13, 201014 yr Cher: She should have done that without the rap. Otherwise a average performance 6/10
November 13, 201014 yr Matt was good - 8/10 Cher was really good, her singing was actually fantastic  8.5/10
November 13, 201014 yr Cher singing=very good Cher rapping=not so much Really liked the begining but the rapping really should be kept for a recurring role in her performances.
