It's a bit rich to complain about Rob 'hogging the limelight' on this performance though. He does have lead vocals on The Flood. How exactly is he supposed to blend into the background when singing lead? :unsure: :lol:

 

Well to be honest I don't understand that thinking either. Surely all the 'Rob will take over the whole show again' means that they don't have much faith in the other four's abilities.

 

Besides ... no-one complained when Gary was hogging the limelight on his solos, whether the band be four or five!

Watched it again. It's definitely Milton McDonald on guitar (the long haired guy) and Lee Pomeroy on bass (he's left handed). They're the musicians on all the Take That tours.

I must say watching tonight i find it weird seeing them as a 5 piece again after getting so used to being a 4 piece. I also must admit i had a few years where i detested robbie williams but warmed to him slightly in the later years. When i first heard robbie was re joining i always said i would put my opinions of robbie to one side and base his return on the music and the music has lived up to expectation. I think the re union will ultimatly benefit all of them as in people as im sure this re union is a huge learening curve for them and introduces alot of change for them.

It does take getting used to Aphrodite ...can you imagine what it's like for us solo fans but I always said I would wait to see what the record was like ,that they made & Progress is beyond what I expected so I am dead happy :cheer:

Im glad your judging it on the music aswell Cleo as thats the important thing. I too understand its weird for the robbie fans seeing him part of a grroup again which is probably a bigger change than seeing take that turn into 5!!
