No. Literally just the pictures from the single covers but without the text on them (so go from many shades of black to suddenly being lighter with Jonna more visible as the covers did, they're not even appropriately staggered to make a cool little flick book). Honestly there is nothing new at all.

 

 

Oh well, I was hoping at least for the lyrics but I'm still going to order it later.

I hate when booklets are printed on photo paper, especially booklets as disappointing and pointless as this. It's an incredible album and I'm glad I've helped the band out (twice! £££!) for putting so much effort into the project, but I wish that effort translated into the physicial product.

 

I'm watching the DVD now and loving how seamless it is.

Yes the DVD does make you realise how seamless the videos were and the album remains the best of the year for me so far, it's just I wanted something new. Or, as Ryan said, the quality of the videos and tracks and the effort made to synch the whole project together just made me think that the physical product was going to be more than it eventually was.

Extremely disappointing, but it'll still comfortably be in my top 2 albums of the year!

 

I just hope this isn't the end of the project, because if it is then what arrived today is a MAJOR anti-climax to two and a half years of following the project.

Don't even feel that excited to have it in my hands anymore

and I'm especially dissapointed that it's not a sticker on the front then. After such a visually stunning project from the single artwork to the videos it just feels like they've ended it on a bit of a squib. A solely black cover would have been perfect and the info could have easily been on the back. Makes me cringe every time I see it on tumblr like some bad paint copy & paist job.

 

I was disappointed earlier but the feeling has passed. It's not only one of the best albums of the last few years but it also has incredible videos too. No other album has been as ambitious as this project. I can only admire everything they created, even the minimal packaging.

 

 

Aye I can't fault the songs and the videos. Plus packaging isn't everything but always a bonus.

 

Still a bit gutted there aren't any locks of clump hair in them.

I've just watched the DVD and am now completely over the packaging debacle as a result. Seeing the videos back to back as one continuous musical film really hammers home how brilliant this album and concept is. :wub:
