I recognised it from Clerks 2.

I recognised it from Clerks 2.

I can barely remember that film although I remember it being good. Is that the one with the Death Star construction workers monologue or is that the first one?

The next person to vote was Medicated Soap. Two top 5 finishes in the first two (as well as countless top 10s in BJSC) Ben is the master of this type of competition, but it's not going as well for him this time around.

[20] Pictureplane 'Goth Star'

[15] Foals 'Miami'

[12] St. Vincent 'Actor Out of Work'

Votes for each of the top 3 mean they extend their lead on Seekae whilst becoming closer to each other, however a 20 for Pictureplane puts it a 1st place away from the lead. The New Pornographers reach 100 points, the Good Natured climb into the top 10 and there's a much needed 15 points for Foals as it gets closer to the top 20.

All points given to songs in the middle mean nothing at all changes towards the top. Hurt and The Good Natured are the biggest beneficiaries in the top 10 whilst these votes push Tony's own song down three places. Gobble Gobble climb 6 places into the top 20.

Must remember for UPIV to have another slow burner :magic: I really thought I be mid table this time round, surprisingly I've hit triple figures.
BTW, I might have to go anytime soon but will be back for 9 (when I imagine it'll be more active anyway....)

You mean the pub beckons

You mean the pub beckons

The big question, will Mark be sober  internet and alcohol do not mix, it does strange things to you

I really liked 'Goodbye, Horses'. I have to say though that I thought it was a man to start with....

Yeah me too. I've known the song since 1991 but only found out it was a girl singer about 4 years ago

OMG Goodbye Horses is sung by a female?! :o

Three Triangles was next to vote with the song he thought would win. Oh dear.

8 Seekae Void

Wolf Gang take the lead from The Hundred in the Hands for the first time in fourteen votes, whilst Pictureplane move into second and are now very much in contention. Martin Solveig becomes the 8th to cross the 100 point barrier, Mew are back into the top 10 and Maximum Balloon are now up to the dizzy heights of 24th, something which I'm sure will give Alin a lot of pleasure.

Suedehead was next, he came very close to victory last time but isn't doing as well this time around.

19. These New Puritans 'Attack Music'

15 pts Cashier Number 9 - 42 West Avenue

12 pts Future Presidents - Criminal

10 pts Bell XI - Flame

8 pts Gobble Gobble - Boring Horror

7 pts The Hundred in the Hands - Pigeon

6 pts Hurt - House Carpenter

5 pts Q Lazarus - Goodbye, Horses

4 pts Cicada - Love Don’t Come Easy

3 pts Wolf Gang - The King And All Of His Men

2 pts Neo - Serial Killer

1 pt The Reason ft Sara Quinn - We’re So Beyond This

Not a lot of points given to the top 5, The Hundred in the Hands are back up to second as a result and The New Pornographers are back in victory contention. Three more songs reach 100 points, and Brett-Butler's Cashier Number 9 moves out of the bottom 3, being replaced by Birds of Tokyo.
